PRAISE GOD ALWAYS!! LOVE all people. Be that peculiar light in CHRIST in order to make change!
Bible and Faith | GOD-INSPIRED

To all,

GOD BLESS US ALL!! Give GOD praises for all things! Let us comfort evil with good. Changing people who are lost with love and righteousness. Showing in our walk the option of love and joy in CHRIST. Be all things to all men

Please pray the LORD's PRAYER (which is the prayer we are taught to pray!! To clarify please take out your bibles that you read and please the prayer that JESUS told us to pray and read MATTHEW 6:6-13):

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

This is the every day prayer called the LORD's PRAYER that GOD has me mention before each passage. Some call it the OUR FATHER or call it the PATER NOSTER);

Now, please read the passages:

1 PETER chapters 2 and 3

CHAPTER 2 1 Rid yourselves, then, of all spite, deceit, hypocrisy, envy and carping criticism.

2 Like new-born babies all your longing should be for milk -- the unadulterated spiritual milk -- which will help you to grow up to salvation,

3 at any rate if you have tasted that the Lord is good .

4 He is the living stone, rejected by human beings but chosen by God and precious to him; set yourselves close to him

5 so that you, too, may be living stones making a spiritual house as a holy priesthood to offer the spiritual sacrifices made acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

6 As scripture says: Now I am laying a stone in Zion, a chosen, precious cornerstone and no one who relies on this will be brought to disgrace.

7 To you believers it brings honour. But for unbelievers, it is rather a stone which the builders rejected that became a cornerstone,

8 a stumbling stone, a rock to trip people up. They stumble over it because they do not believe in the Word; it was the fate in store for them.

9 But you are a chosen race, a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, a people to be a personal possession to sing the praises of God who called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

10 Once you were a non-people and now you are the People of God; once you were outside his pity; now you have received pity.

11 I urge you, my dear friends, as strangers and nomads, to keep yourselves free from the disordered natural inclinations that attack the soul.

12 Always behave honourably among gentiles so that they can see for themselves what moral lives you lead, and when the day of reckoning comes, give thanks to God for the things which now make them denounce you as criminals.

13 For the sake of the Lord, accept the authority of every human institution: the emperor, as the supreme authority,

14 and the governors as commissioned by him to punish criminals and praise those who do good.

15 It is God's will that by your good deeds you should silence the ignorant talk of fools.

16 You are slaves of no one except God, so behave like free people, and never use your freedom as a cover for wickedness.

17 Have respect for everyone and love for your fellow-believers; fear God and honour the emperor.

18 Slaves, you should obey your masters respectfully, not only those who are kind and reasonable but also those who are difficult to please.

19 You see, there is merit if, in awareness of God, you put up with the pains of undeserved punishment;

20 but what glory is there in putting up with a beating after you have done something wrong? The merit in the sight of God is in putting up with it patiently when you are punished for doing your duty.

21 This, in fact, is what you were called to do, because Christ suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in his steps.

22 He had done nothing wrong, and had spoken no deceit.

23 He was insulted and did not retaliate with insults; when he was suffering he made no threats but put his trust in the upright judge.

24 He was bearing our sins in his own body on the cross, so that we might die to our sins and live for uprightness; through his bruises you have been healed.

25 You had gone astray like sheep but now you have returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.

CHAPTER 3 1 In the same way, you wives should be obedient to your husbands. Then if there are some husbands who do not believe the Word, they may find themselves won over, without a word spoken, by the way their wives behave,

2 when they see the reverence and purity of your way of life.

3 Your adornment should be not an exterior one, consisting of braided hair or gold jewellery or fine clothing,

4 but the interior disposition of the heart, consisting in the imperishable quality of a gentle and peaceful spirit, so precious in the sight of God.

5 That was how the holy women of the past dressed themselves attractively -- they hoped in God and were submissive to their husbands;

6 like Sarah, who was obedient to Abraham, and called him her lord. You are now her children, as long as you live good lives free from fear and worry.

7 In the same way, husbands must always treat their wives with consideration in their life together, respecting a woman as one who, though she may be the weaker partner, is equally an heir to the generous gift of life. This will prevent anything from coming in the way of your prayers.

8 Finally: you should all agree among yourselves and be sympathetic; love the brothers, have compassion and be self-effacing.

9 Never repay one wrong with another, or one abusive word with another; instead, repay with a blessing. That is what you are called to do, so that you inherit a blessing.

10 For Who among you delights in life, longs for time to enjoy prosperity? Guard your tongue from evil, your lips from any breath of deceit.

11 Turn away from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it.

12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the upright, his ear turned to their cry. But the Lord's face is set against those who do evil.

13 No one can hurt you if you are determined to do only what is right;

14 and blessed are you if you have to suffer for being upright. Have no dread of them; have no fear.

15 Simply proclaim the Lord Christ holy in your hearts, and always have your answer ready for people who ask you the reason for the hope that you have.

16 But give it with courtesy and respect and with a clear conscience, so that those who slander your good behaviour in Christ may be ashamed of their accusations.

17 And if it is the will of God that you should suffer, it is better to suffer for doing right than for doing wrong.

18 Christ himself died once and for all for sins, the upright for the sake of the guilty, to lead us to God. In the body he was put to death, in the spirit he was raised to life,

19 and, in the spirit, he went to preach to the spirits in prison.

20 They refused to believe long ago, while God patiently waited to receive them, in Noah's time when the ark was being built. In it only a few, that is eight souls, were saved through water.

21 It is the baptism corresponding to this water which saves you now -- not the washing off of physical dirt but the pledge of a good conscience given to God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

22 who has entered heaven and is at God's right hand, with angels, ruling forces and powers subject to him.

Your reverence for Jesus is commendable...but you need some training in hermeneutics.

AMEN! LOL! Thanks for you kind of compliment.

But, I know, you know, and all here know that no one is perfect.

So, everyone needs work in something.

As GOD has had me say numerous of times here, “ WE ARE ALL A WORK IN PROGRESS!”

The most important thing is reading the WORD. That’s all!

PRAISE JESUS,
