Clarify please, the Presbyterian Church USA. Personally, I think the PCUSA should just retitle their religion to the Lesbyterian Church to avoid confusion. Bible-believing Presbyterian denominations such as the PCA and the ARP among others are the true heirs to John Calvin, John Knox, Peter Marshall, Matthew Henry and others.

I’m so glad my church (the PCA) left the PCUSA years ago. It’s nice to see so many other churches making the same, smart, call. Menlo Park, a big Presby church in Cali, is poised to jump ship as well. I’m all for staying and fighting the good fight, but eventually the rot runs to deep that there’s nothing left to fight for. Then we have to rebuild on new foundations. Sad, but true...

They can always come to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church and learn the truth.

I’m so glad my church (the PCA) left the PCUSA years ago.

Glad I joined the PCA in 1993 after being in the PC-USA for a number of years.

The minister of the PC-USA church ran off with his secretary, but the church wanted him back and ran off the pastor's wife! So I had to leave.

What a joy to come to the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America). The women were enjoying their unique roles in the Women of Faith movement and being wives of Elders supporting their husbands in that role. No gender confusion here!

The Five Points of Calvinism was readily taught in Sunday School and especially the Westminster Confessions as are our unique heritage. Not only this but the Scriptures were presented as 'Inerrant, Authoritative, and Complete'. What a breath of fresh air.

Once a friend asked me to go to a PC-USA service recently and a woman pastoress lectured us males how we should embrace our femininity. And the words of the Apostle Paul echoed in my mind "...do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man..." 1 Timothy 2:12

Funny, when you have gone to the real thing and absorbed tons of Scripture and good Doctrine - you don't want to go back to the Politically Correct Mush.

What did you inherit from Calvin child baptism sacraments equal salvation?

I hate to break it to you, but the PCA is insignificant; ARP utterly so. The entire world body of the ARP could show up to a minor league baseball game and not attract notice in the local press.

Judging the Presbyterian church by the ARP is like judging Catholicism by the Latin-mass crowd.

We’re not insignificant to God. Relatively small in number we may be but then again doesn’t Scripture teach us that only a relative few will be saved?

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”(Matthew 7:13-14)

Nice pivot, but we were discussing who represents Presbyterianism, not who gets saved. PCUSA largely represents Presbyterianism.

I made a slight change to your quote:

PCUSA largely represents Presbyterianism in Name Only(PINO).

PCA, ARP, RPCNA, etc represent true Presbyterianism.
