No. You might want to ask the other poster that question.
You mean Science trying to solve the riddles of our past? Like those silly pyramids?
Maybe we should burn the Shroud, and blow up the pyramids, just so scientists quit wasting their time on useless information.
Or, am I misinterpreting your remark?
Where is it now?
I know where St. Peter and John Paul are but not the shrine.
>>”always believed the shroud was the real deal”>>>>>>
Same here, even when it has been in doubt, I hoped it was real. I love the idea that it is real but I do not NEED it to believe in Jesus Christ.
The DVD is also available - it should be in every household.

for you naysayers, at least do some research and be able to back up your naysaying with more than ignorant pontifications
The human spirit can raise it's vibrational energy at will. It can also tolerate extremely high energies. That is why the spirit can look into the face of God, but the material human cannot. Even though the spirit can raise that energy, it only does so in extreme situations. When normal human spirits do so, we call it SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION.
Jesus, we believe, was not normal. The link between his conscious and his spirit was much stronger, and what is noted in the Bible as the 'ladder' we will use to get to heaven.
If one can accept all of the above, then it follows that Jesus was able to 'raise' his dead/dying body by raising his spiritual vibration energy level. Doing so left 'radiation' burns on the cloth.
Do your own research, I charge for that....I already know how you feel based on your scarcastic remark to me on an earlier post.
ah - no.
It was privately owned and protected for centuries.
BUMP
Appreciate the correction, but I do believe that it has always been protected by Catholics...but I could be mistaken.
By 'anything', do you mean 'details' or 'concepts' ?
At 2:00 pm on WOR(NYC) channel 9 was a showing a Shroud of Turin documentary. During the program amazing supernatural peace came with a revelation of truth. To see how brutalized Christ endured for us. If I went to bed at 11:00pm as usual I would never have seen this program. This was God. Ever since I always believed the Shroud to be true cloth of Christ. Praise Jesus!
do you mean the Shroud of Turin?
If so, it's not a shrine. It's a shroud - burial cloth - and it's displayed in a church in TURIN, Italy -
For those who are unfamiliar with the Shroud - a mystery to me - Google is at your fingertips.
I've been studying, researching the Shroud for over 50 years. More and more exciting research comes out -
Doing your own study is recommenced.
Well there you go then you weren’t baptized a Cahtolic.
You get the get out Hell for free card! /smart alec
I am not a deep thinking apologetic more the lady praying for all type of Catholic (conservative).
That being said a wise man (my Preist who taught me when I came back to my faith of origin) told me once dunked (no matter what affiliation) no need for re-dunking. (is that like the no double dipping rule?)
I was double dunked.
However could not find the record of in my birth place Catholic Church.
But! The Baptist church here in town had my record and that was a blessing when going through the year of Adult Catechism with Father (who used to teach at University, not easy for me but KV sailed right through all the tests and homework laughing at me/Mom all the way)
Obama is a ‘practicing’ Muslim.
Wouldn't we all?
you are
P.S. If Jesus was able to ‘resurrect’ , then it is likely he did spontaneously combust, and his body burnt to ashes.
Very slowly, and that ‘radiation’ left the image.
This would explain why no one could find the BODY of Jesus.
