A Jew converting to Christianity would have to agree that his beloved ancestors are in hell but that he or she hopes to do better. Such a person would obviously not be worthy of salvation. Until Christian doctrine on salvation only by faith in Jesus changes, this impediment is insuperable.
Take that up with God, in the meantime, we’ll continue to pray for Jews and others to find salvation through Christ the King.

Uh, no.
“Such a person would obviously not be worthy of salvation.”
Anyone who comes to Christ can be made worthy by Him.
“Until Christian doctrine on salvation only by faith in Jesus changes, this impediment is insuperable.”
We don’t believe in sola fide. We do believe in the necessity of faith in Christ, but we don’t (and we can’t and wouldn’t) condemn to hell those who knew no better through no fault of their own.
Many Jews become Christians. I know preachers who are former Jews.
Not quite. From the Third Chapter of the First Letter of Saint Peter:
18 Because Christ also died once for our sins, the just for the unjust: that he might offer us to God, being put to death indeed in the flesh, but enlivened in the spirit, 19 In which also coming he preached to those spirits that were in prison: 20 Which had been some time incredulous, when they waited for the patience of God in the days of Noe, when the ark was a building: wherein a few, that is, eight souls, were saved by water.
Between His Death and Resurrection, Jesus descended to the realm of the dead, bringing His message of salvation to those who were dead and yet not damned to Hell. So your argument doesn't stand.
That is preposterous.
Jews before the time of Christ were saved by believing God’s promises (in a sense believing in Christ). They are in paradise and I sincerely hope my Jewish brothers and sisters receive Christ to join them there.
All of us are saved the same way - through Jesus Christ. All men and women have *always* been saved through Jesus Christ. The Name is power, but the Lord, being G_d, can save without knowledge of the actual name. Remember, “Abraham believed G_d and it was counted as righteousness to him.” (Romans 4:3, Galatians 3:6)
