If we are deciphering biblical prophecy correctly, the AntiChrist will rule the world from his European base, the old Roman Empire geography.
Revelation 17 is one of the key passages to consider. In Revelation, the “beast” is regarded as the AntiChrist. The “other beast” is considered the False Prophet. The “dragon” is considered Satan, “that old snake.”

Old Roman Empire in Bible prophecy has been around for quite a while. A new thought is that those prophecies refer to a muslim kingdom and that the “12th Imam” they are expecting will be the Antichrist. I think this is more possible. Obama (I don’t think) isn’t the Antichrist but will help usher him in.

The city of seven hills........the capital of the roman empire at the time, was NOT rome, but was constantinople, or modern day istanbul, located in turkey....constantinople was literally build on the top of seven hills, and the large space underneath the city supported by huge column’s was and still is used as a cistern to hold the city’s water supply....you are all looking for the anti christ on the wrong continent...and the wrong religion...

I agree! I’ve always believed that Obama is here to pave the way for the coming of Satan. He’s been doing it from the start of his presidency....making the population become helpless & fully dependent on the government - which would, of course, lead a lot of people to do whatever the govt tells them to do. This would bring about a subservient population...hmmm.

Let’s break this down.
1. Constantinople was named for Constantine.
2. Constantine moved the seat of government in 330 A.D.
3. The Book of Revelation was completed in the First Century.
4. The City of the Seven Hills is Rome.
Thank goodness it’s not the Pope this time.
Evangelicals at work still berate me for allegiance to the “Beast of Rome.”

When I hear people spread their atheistic beliefs, I think, you have got to be in a news vacuum everything that is happening goes right along with Bible prophecy.
“Anti-” in Greek means not only ‘opposite,’ but also can mean, ‘in place of, a substitute.’
For example, the etymology of the the proper name Antigone (of Sophocles’ fame), broken down, could be, ‘substitute mother.’
Other Greek names have this ‘Anti’ prefix and do not mean ‘against,’ but mean ‘in place of,” such as ‘Antipater.’
The word ‘vicar’ from Latin, also means a substitute, or ‘in place of.’
Wrong!!! Do you know who the instead of Jesus is? If you do not know that answer then you are not going to know who it is that shows up first 'pretending' to be Jesus and the world will marvel at his fake 'brightness'.
