Judas carried the bag. That is, he was the treasurer for the desciples. Judas was a thief but that is beside the point He projected himself as a progressive humanist. He was concerned about the poor more than he was concerned about Jesus. John 12:1-8.
"Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
Then took Mary Of Bethany a pound of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
Then saith one of his disiples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was therein.
Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always."
In Matthew 26:10-13 Jesus said.
"When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.
For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.
Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her."
Three hundred pence was a years wages. It was also thirty silver pieces, the same price Judas later received for the betrayal of Jesus. It was a great deal of money but it was not Judas Iscariot's money. It was Mary's money. Yet, Judas did want to control that money and as it were, spread the wealth.
Judas presented himself as a progresiive humanist and champion of the poor. He was a wolf hiding under sheeps clothing. He was not willing to honor and bless the Christ Spirit though the Lord Jesus. Instead Judas puts out the same progresive, humanistic, socialistic drible Obama flaunts today.
As Jesus declared, the poor ye have aways with you. How about honoring the Christ Spirit of the Way, the Truth and the Life? Instead the poor are being used as an excuse to gain control of all wealth and power by the humanistic deceivers. This spreading the wealth is the essence of the Judas spirit of using the judgement of good and evil too gain control of the kingdom.
The kingdom of the Judas spirit is the body of the son of perdition. If you accept the concept that Judas or Obama can decide for you, who and what you can honor, then these wolves will devour and enslave you. Honor the Christ Spirit and be a living member of the body of the Son of God on earth.
Everyone must choose the spirit they serve and the body or kingdom they inhabit. The Judas spirit is the opposite of the Christ spirit. The Judas spirit is hate, lies and death. If you let yourself be deceived by their humanistic, anti-God indoctrination you will find yourself enslaved in the body of the son of perdition. That body is being cast out and will be lost forever. The Judas spirit is a dead end.
Jesus said John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
The way to the Father is through loving and serving the Christ Spirit. That Spirit founded the United States of America. Are we going sell this great Nation, dedicated to God, and give it to the poor because some Judas liar and thief tells us, that is the right thing to do? Judas wants to spread the wealth so he can control the money and power. He does not honor the Lord.
We are in the end times and we have a Judas in the White House. Let us honor and serve God. The creeps who serve the Judas spirit will be cast down. The good news is that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and we are free to honor and serve the Lord with all the precious substance of our being. Praise the Lord.
Here’s another line of thought: Everyone in power or who has power has a Judas; Obama is not excempt from such.
The Christ Spirit is within us. Let it shine.
