FRiends, I am asking for a new FReeper, mickeyleroy, for prayers for Addie Ruth Halbin, of Kansas City KS. He is asking that she be cured of all her cancers and Alzheimer's. He is asking that we entreat the aid of Bl. Francis X. Seelos in this prayer.

I will personally be praying to Jesus Christ, to St. Mary, to Bl. Francis and all the saints, for her healing, for peace, for comfort for those who love her.

I was just thinking about how St. Padre Pio suffered and how he other saints who suffered with pain and illness felt they were in a higher communion with Christ. There is a reason God allows suffering, more than we mere mortals know, but there is usually some good that comes out of it eventually to someone connected with the person suffering. In all things I ask God’s will to be done even if I don’t understand why it happens. God bless the person reaching out for the healing and may the family learn to grow even closer to our Lord during this time.
