An armed robber in America turned to God mid-robbery in what investigators are calling the strangest case they have ever seen.Gregory Smith, 23, walked into a store in an Indianapolis shopping centre brandishing a gun.
But instead of raiding the place, he started hugging his tearful victim, Angela Montez, telling her he hated what he was doing but had no choice.
The pair began discussing God and before long Smith was on his knees in tears, praying and being hugged by her.

How to not quite get saved!
He must be a good actor.
Maybe he was planning on making a donation to his local church.
He has a definite future in politics.
Although i have to aggree with everyones thoughts on it being ridiculous. I also know that there are angels everywhere and god reachs to you in strange and unfamiliar ways. So it doesent surprise.
Almost persuaded...........
If you are going to go ahead and steal, why not take all the money? Stealing $20 from her isn’t any less wrong than stealing thousands from the business. I just had a conversation with some teens who were keeping their cups from a fast food place and refilling them days later. They didn’t think it was stealing. Also they would order a tea and fill it with a coke (tea is 50 cents cheaper). I asked them if they would go to a mall and pay for a hoodie and then walk out with a leather jacket. They said no. I told them it didn’t matter the amount of money. Stealing is stealing. At least if they do it again, they will have something to think about.
LOL, thats what I was thinking...this was a story about how a CCW holder offed another of the criminal class.
I agree with you.
Thanks at least someone does! ;)
I see this video and I think, “there is some hope after all”.
My heart goes to him, and I wonder about the pain he must be in to do that. I’m thankful that he didn’t harm that lady, even though it appears that-that was his original intent.
I agree, but remember, if this young man is a new believer, he has a lot to learn. A lot of young believers don’t get basic truths at first. Just because it may seem logical to them doesn’t mean that they have attained to the mind of God.
“if this young man is a new believer, he has a lot to learn.”
He already knew that what he was doing was wrong. That is why he apologized to her and broke down.
My guess is that someone has been storming heaven for the salvation of this young man. God works in mysterious ways.
You could be right about that!
more amish armed robberies?
Has to graduate to stealing the childrens’ lollipops, to get into politics ...
The pair began discussing God and before long Smith was on his knees in tears, praying and being hugged by her. He eventually stole only her mobile phone and $20.
I guess they didn't get to the Ten Commandments during their little talk about God.
Not to worry though, I'm sure he'll be back for another talk about God -- and another $20.00!
