Please pray for Debbie and Maria. Both of these women have breast cancer.
Debbie lives in the UK and is subject to nationalized heath care. She found the lump last spring and the doctors are just now getting around to testing. It's a nightmare.
Maria (lives in the US) is having a recurrence.
Please pray for strength for both of these women and their families.
Thanks. j
Prayer ping.
There is a DIRECT correlation between breast cancer and iodine/iodide deficiency. Read up on it, particularly anything by Dr. Brownstein.
Read also about Iodoral, which is the #1 iodine supplement. Take upwards of 50mg/day.
It is amazing the connection.

That is interesting. Table salt has been iodized since the 1920s, when they figured out the connection between iodine and thyroid disease. Are you saying they aren’t adding enough, or that some victims don’t eat enough salt? I take liquid minerals every day so I am probably getting a double dose.
Prayers up.
That’s exactly what I’m saying. The RDA in America for iodine is 150 mcg. We should be taking 100 times that, at least.
Every single cell of our bodies needs iodine, not just the thyroid, which is what the medical community focuses on. And it is crucial for all the reproductive organs; breast, uterus, ovaries AND prostate.
The problem of the past 50 years or so is not just that iodine isn’t in our soil anymore like before, the big thing is that bromine was added to almost all baked goods, and ‘acts like’ iodine and is absorbed like it but it’s a toxin. Same for chlorine and flouride. These 3 are called toxic halides. As soon as you start taking the higher doses of iodine, you will immediately start to detox these 3 things.
Prayers going up.
A lot of the RDAs are way, way too low. I take a couple of thousand units of Vitamin C a day, but the RDA is 60 and 800 of D, while the RDA is 200, and have for decades.
Count me in. My mother died from breast cancer so this personal to me.
Praying here.
Prayers up. Trust in God. The prayers of many are with you.

Prayers for Debbie and Maria.
Father, You are our strength and comfort for us all as we walk through difficult times and I ask Your will be done in these two womens’ lives. We ask that your healing hand will touch these women and give them strength to go through the care they need, and I ask it may be in a timely manner for them. Amen.
Prayers up for the complete healing of Debbie and Maria and for comfort and strength for their loved ones.
Please add my prayers to the list. Please tell both these ladies that the waiting is THE HARDEST PART.
I write this at 5 am from my hospital bed. Docs did a mastectomy yesterday, if I’m a good girl (and they don’t find out I was up most of the night!) I’ll go home today.
This all started in July, with a bad mammogram, followed by a failed lumpectomy and failed sentinal lymph node biopsies (3 out of 9 had not done their jobs, they were excised and FIRED!). So now I got the mastectomy done, and will start chemo shortly.
My points in giving out so much personal info are these:
If I would have gotten the last 2 mammograms (herein everafter referred to as “dammograms!”) this wouldn’t have gotten to stage 2.
If the docs would have moved faster, I’d be halfway done with chemo, etc.
I will never again be as afraid as I was from July until yesterday. The fear was the hardest part. It was paralyzing.
so, THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS:
Get your mammograms. And if you get a bad one, remember, very few women who get breast cancer die. Also, remember that if you do have chemo, and if you do lose your hair, chances are good it will come back different. I’m looking forward to strawberry blonde, slightly curly, always looks like it was just styled hair.
Attitude is everything! And a killer sense of humour will see you thru quite a bit. Family, friends and yes, even net friends will pick up the slack when you can’t carry the burden alone.
Prayers are priceless. And remember, Be Not Afraid!
I hope these two ladies (and all the rest of us BC folks) find the peace they’ll need to deal with this.
Also, my pink ribbon says “Save Second Base!” because I refuse to give cancer the dignity of a fearful response. Screw cancer!!!
I will pray...

Prayers for both.
Prayers for both of those women, for the medical care that they need to treat them effectively, and for all women everywhere who suffer from this dread illness.

The longest I've ever gone between Mammos and Pap Smears is 16 months, and that's because I just got busy and let the time slide. Never again!! I'm very faithful about them because frankly, they're a heck of a lot less expensive than treatment for full blown cancer!
Prayers for Debbie and Maria.
I’ll add both Debbie and Maria to our Parish Prayer list, this week.
blu, you are amazing! Best to you in your recovery.
Jaded, this is one you will have to share with Debbie and Maria, together with all our prayers.
Prayers for Debbie, Maria and blu for strength, courage, peace and complete restoration.
Thanks, Suzi, you keep on top of those tests! It takes a lot less time and stress to get the tests than to get the cancer :)
Thanks for the well wishes. I hope the other ladies find the peace and lose the fear.
