Father, our prayers are with our troops, and ever more earnestly as things grow more precarious in Afghanistan. Remembering all the good they have done for us, we ask that You would do good for them. We plead that You, Father, would be their strong deliverer and shield them in the day of battle.
Lord, the war we have been waging in Afghanistan has come to a crossroads. We have little faith in those to whom the decision has been entrusted, but we have faith in You, and we know that You are greater than any on earth. Lord, we seek Your mercy in this matter; do not grant that the wicked will succeed in depriving Afghanistan of the freedom it has been given, in using this nation for evil ends.
Father, we pray for the relief of Your persecuted children. May they find strength and comfort in You.
Lord, we remember Your acts of old, the mercies and judgments You sent in perfect wisdom. You are the God who delivered His people from their slave-masters with power and with wonders, the God who walked on this earth and was filled with compassion for the helpless crowds. Age after age You reveal Your goodness, and every age You are the same. You are our comfort and our hope, and we give You praise in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Dear Father, Be with all Our American Heroes, Put Your Own personal hedge of protection around them. Please be their Champion, their Guiding Light, Their Comforter, Their Shield, and Their Rock. Keep them from the evil schemes of the enemy and protect them from all harm, and give them the victory, in Jesus Name.

Dear Father
In these times that seem so crazy, so upside down, when men call good evil, and evil good, we cry out to You, and You alone. Lord, You once were willing to save Sodom and Gommorrah for the sake of a few dozen decent people, I implore you not to turn Your back on America, even though there is so much evil here. Forgive us our sins, convict us of our wrongdoing, change our direction so that we are once again going towards You, give us righteous leadership, restore our unity and faith, in Jesus Name. Be with our Troops, give them Strengh and Encouragement and everything they need for the Victory over the enemy. We also ask for an awareness to enlighten the people that they will support our troops with a new fervor. In Jesus Name.
