Besides, people who are familial Catolics still call themselves Catholics even if they only attend funerals and weddings. It is PRACTICING Catholics that matter, and the numbers on those ain’t there.

I'm speaking of the era in general.

No "male temple prostitutes" in the KJV.

I can’t speak for all the changes in this text, but in many instances “children” really is more correct than “sons” according to the Hebrew text. In mixed or unknown gender groups, the masculine gender is always used.

First off, I do not know any conservative evangelicals who consider the NIV as good translation.

Well you do now. Allow me to introduce myself...

Petronski doesn’t believe his lyin’ eyes and he doesn’t want you or me to, either. He maintains all the polls showing the majority of Roman Catholics voting for Obama are wrong.

The Word of God is diminished by the acts of man.

A gender neutral bible.

God created Man and Woman.
The devil has been peeved ever since.

Gene Robinson must be pleased.

Well, to be fair, he only mentioned one. If you cite the others and how the Pew one is accurate, I’m sure he will recant.
In fact, I would love to look at those polls to see their veracity. Would you mind posting the ones you refer too?
Thanks in advance.

Italy? Spain? France? Portugal? Chile? the USA?

The RCC is the largest denomination here, by far. Almost as many members as the protestants have factions.

Since he also denies the existence of Roman Catholics, it would make sense that the polls would be wrong. How can a “Roman Catholic” vote for Obama if there are no Roman Catholics?

All you have to do is follow the money and the Roman Church
should not misuse the word catholic.

i fell in love with young's literal translation after reading the first chapter of genesis. se how beautifulthe words are. this is where if first saw the seperation, collection and actual creation. i think it is a beatiful translation. can't spell check. 1 In the beginning of God’s preparing the heavens and the earth— 2the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness is on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters. 3 And God saith, ‘Let light be;’ and light is. 4And God seeth the light that it is good, and God separateth between the light and the darkness, 5and God calleth to the light ‘Day,’ and to the darkness He hath called ‘Night;’ and there is an evening, and there is a morning—day one. 6 And God saith, ‘Let an expanse be in the midst of the waters, and let it be separating between waters and waters.’ 7And God maketh the expanse, and it separateth between the waters which are under the expanse, and the waters which are above the expanse: and it is so. 8And God calleth to the expanse ‘Heavens;’ and there is an evening, and there is a morning—day second. 9 And God saith, ‘Let the waters under the heavens be collected unto one place, and let the dry land be seen:’ and it is so. 10And God calleth to the dry land ‘Earth,’ and to the collection of the waters He hath called ‘Seas;’ and God seeth that it is good. 11And God saith, ‘Let the earth yield tender grass, herb sowing seed, fruit-tree (whose seed is in itself) making fruit after its kind, on the earth:’ and it is so. 12And the earth bringeth forth tender grass, herb sowing seed after its kind, and tree making fruit (whose seed is in itself) after its kind; and God seeth that it is good; 13and there is an evening, and there is a morning—day third. Well, Notre Dame, is one example of Catholics behind Obama. And where was that place where he demanded the cross be covered before he spoke there? And they obliged him.

I agree. If only they would use that to their advantage. They have the power but they aren't using it effectively, IMO. I believe too much PC has entered in. However, this is true of churches in general. Jesus wasn't PC - he called as he saw it. He wasn't a people pleaser.

Yes, it was “for Heaven’s sake,” and our sake, too.

Read up about the Elizabethan Era when Shakespeare wrote and the Protestant Reformation flourished, all culminating in the KJV in 1611.

There’s no such thing as happenstance.

“No “male temple prostitutes” in the KJV.”

Actually there all over the NKJ.

Get a King James Bible
With a Strongs Dictionary
Look up the Hebrew and Greek(Numbers) that appear after the words.

Deut. 23:17: “There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel...”

6945
qadesh
kaw-dashe’
from ‘qadash’ (6942); a (quasi) sacred person, i.e. (technically) a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry:— sodomite, unclean.

06945 // vdq // qadesh // kaw-dashe’ //

from 06942 ; TWOT - 1990c; n m

1) male temple prostitute

Georgetown University.

A cross and a monogram — “IHS” — that signifies Christ (displayed on a pediment) were covered up.

However, I gather that many Roman Catholics do not support pro-abort Obama or the antics of the Georgetown Jesuits.
