The church, Christ, offers them salvation, healing, redemption, restoration, same as it does to the rest of us.

If someone feels victimized by that then they aren’t ready for it.

Exactly!! We are all sinners. Some to a higher degree than others. We have all done things we are not proud of. HOWEVER, homosexuals are the only group that insist they are not sinners, and that the Church has no right to say they are. It's a mental illness, and it is clear when it comes to this issue.

I was watching a crime show once, that was the perfect example of how homosexuals feel about the Church. One of the investigators had an extreme ax to grind with the Catholic Church. It turns out it was because when she was young she had gotten an abortion, and (surprise surprise) the church did not support her in doing so, and did not gush all over her when she returned to church after having done so.

Mind you they didn't ask her to leave, or to not come to church, nothing. They simply did not absolve her of her sin, and she refused to confess it. Therefore in her mind, the church was hateful and intolerant, and unforgiving. THAT is how these homosexuals view it as well. They want churches to celebrate their sin. And that is NOT going to happen.
