***For 2000 years, all The Church was wrong. Everyone was wrong, even Christ and The Apostles. However, now, luckily, we have Iscool with his / her interpretation which is the true one.***

The Church of Iscool (population 1) knows all and sees all from the comfort of his armchair, with tasty beverages and toothy snacks well within reach.

Hi there, Iscool. How has your doctrine changed in the few scant weeks since we talked last? Or do I need to try to find out for myself as was the case the last couple of times?

***Many others like her have gone to Elim and gone on to do great things for the Lord.***

Such as?

I was a little confused by her statement though in which she said that her background is one of pain, drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual abuse, rape, and criminal activities. Am I reading this wrong, or is she claiming that Elim is a bad place?

Such as?

Raking in more "estate planning" funds?

Tearing more souls from the Full Truth and toward a lesser cult?

Complete self-aggrandizement through the exploitation of misrepresented Gospel messages?

Some unwanted advice from me to you: Don’t try to engage fashionable iconoclasts, just refute them.

Rather sola scripura than the traditions of man as in your church.

Sola Scriptura IS a tradition of men.

Your statement is tragically ironic.

Another church-of-one paradox.

The category begins to approach the league of the uncountable.

Here's the more accurate version:

Many others like her have gone to Elim and YET gone on to do great things for the Lord.

Fashionable? He hides out on the outer fringes of the outer fringes of the galaxy. I think that he makes the Unabomber look gregarious.

Absolutely not. She’s talking about her life before she came to know the Lord and before Elim. I would think that would be obvious.

Pastors, missionaries, teachers, to name a few. I personally know many but I’m not giving out names.

No, it isn’t. You are the ones who are deceived. Sad for you. Really.

Sola Scriptura must, by its terms, be proven by Scripture only.

It can’t be done.

You’ve been sold a lie.

Sola Scriptura must, by its terms, be proven by Scripture only.

And, so, by that very rule, Scripture would have to dictate the books included. Hmmm. I don't remember reading that list anywhere - not even in freshman Scripture class when we memorized all 73 books in order. AND had to spell them correctly. New American, though. Junior and senior years we used the Jerusalem.

If memory serves, the Council of Carthage closed the Canon after discernment. Thank you Sts. Augustine and Jerome.

That’s quite a career. Pain, drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual abuse, rape, and criminal activities.

Sounds like the Democratic National Committee and the current occupants of the Executive Branch. Sorry, and the Senate and House Democrats. Wouldn’t want to leave them out; they’ve earned it.

Pain, drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual abuse, rape, and criminal activities.

That is the description of a hard-core prostitute.

Fair enough. The Church, on the other hand, makes public the names of all of its officials, clergy, laity appointed to Church posts, etc.

If you add ‘swimmer’, you can also include Teddy Kennedy.
