Psalm 140
1Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
2Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
3They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
4Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
5The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
6I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
7O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
8Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
9As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
11Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
12I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
13Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
We are a nation that celebrates idolatry. We are a nation that celebrates hedonism. We are a nation that is increasingly disdaining You. Our people are unmoved by Your Word. Our children have been brainwashed into believing it is a myth. Our churches scarcely teach the truth, rather they specialize in watering down the truth to the point that often what is presented in the name of Christianity is a false gospel. The prophets of the new age are prospering in this dark environment and the true warriors have become to fat and lazy to raise their little finger to help.
Even our stalwarts don't all seem to understand what is before us. A few are going strong at it, like Rush and Beck, but they don't have the insight that this war is a spiritual one as well - not in a biblical sense. They still want to shield themselves from the terrifying reality of what the government is capable of and have a hesitancy for going 'too far' in the statements. Yet, on a daily basis we see this administration thumbing its nose at all convention, disdaining the moral choices, and grabbing more power for itself. Soon, if You do not intervene, we will have no freedom - at least in the Constitutional sense. We will have lost our country, and those who speak up will be persecuted or worse.
The world has been through many despotic reigns. Yet, our people are so ignorant of history as to miss the lessons of history. They haven't a clue and don't want to have a clue. They live in a technicolor world created by Hollywood that isn't a reality. One day soon, unless You intervene, that world will crumble. What horrible day it will be when they see what is true - for by that point, they will have lost all, and it will be too late for this nation.
Still it won't be too late for the human soul, as long as Your gospel is here on earth.
If the worst happens, and if we lose America, I pray that those who remain will nevertheless get right with You.
The worst may not happen. But if it does, I pray that You save America in the spiritual sense - for ultimately that is what truly matters.
What does a man profit if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Absolutely nothing.
May this nation turn its heart to You in repentance for the evils within its borders - before it is too late. And may the wrongs committed by righted lest well-deserved judgment come crashing down upon our heads.
Deliver us, O God, from evil is our collective prayer.
And it is in Jesus' precious name, the name of my conquering King, that I pray these things, Amen.
Won’t you exercise the freedom you still have and join us in prayer today?
Deliver us from our own evil, In Jesus name, the name of my conquering King, So Be It.

I’ll pray for his impeachment
I’ll pray that he just goes away and never is heard of again and that we, as a nation, will only remember him as the greatest mistake we ever made.
Then you will have to pray for the conversion of Congress as well, for this Congress will never impeach him.

Father, You looked down from Your sanctuary on high, from heaven You viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those who were condemned to death (Ps 102:19-20). Lord Jesus, in Your name and authority, I say to the devil, “Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. I have sinned, but Christ bore my wrath on the cross. He pleads my case and establishes my right. He will bring me out into the light, and I will see his righteousness. Then you, my enemy, will see it and be covered with shame” (Mic 7:8-10). Amen
Lord, this is a day that You have made, and we rejoice in it. We are not moved by our circumstances, but instead by Your promise in our lives. We accept the power You have given us in our words, and we declare and decree that this will be a righteous nation again with righteous leaders. We pray that the plans of the enemy will be exposed, and that the hearts of the people would stand against those plans. Help us as a nation to choose what is right. In Christ’s Holy name, amen.
Please Come, Lord Jesus, we need you so.
Hasten that day when we may abide with you forever.
Send us a revival, so that we may be ready for your return.
