How timely.
I’ve had food allergies my whole life and on occasion they flare up worse than others and this is one of those times.
I’m allergic to most vegetables and some fruits and have had some pretty strong reactions lately; some of them delayed reactions where you have a second reaction the next day or two. That happens with me with stings, too.
I’ve never had it serious enough to require a trip to the ER but they sure can be pretty scary.
I would love to be able to eat well with lots of fruits and vegetables, but right now, that’s just not an option. The only answer for food allergies is healing because there’s no treatment for them.
Also prayer for my daughter’s job and college complications. She’s had a terrible time since she started almost two years ago and she really needs the money.
Is there some kind of keyword we could add that could be specific to this prayer list so that we can come back to it and follow up on the prayer requests?

We are going to try and post some small devotional and or verses each Monday morning and our hope is when people have praises to prayer requests they will let us know so everyone can know.

Thanks. I have no doubt that when I’m healed I would know it without even having to try food to test. A huge part of the allergy is eczema that never really goes away. Sometimes it’s better than others but there’s always low grade inflammation.
When I had my tonsils out many years ago, the doctor gave me a shot of prednisone to keep the swelling down for a few days at least, and although I didn’t know it at the time, I knew he did something because of how clear my skin was. If it just stayed as eczema, I could easily live with that. It’s the more generalized body wide reactions that are the problem.
My daughter has a job now but is having problems with skin rashes to some of the artificial butter they put on the popcorn when it splashes on her. I’d hate to see her have to quit the job because of that. She’s very computer geeky and would just love a job with the Apple store or Geek squad but that hasn’t panned out yet. Jobs are not for the taking around here so prayer is the only way that she’s going to get one.

Boy, do I know about allergies. I am allergic to nearly every anti-biotic known to man as of today.
I do not know where you live but have you tried the Apple Stores, they are always looking for the “computer geek”.
Does the school have a computer lab?
Your prayers will be answered, the hard thing for us mere humans is the patience part of it. All is done in His time for Him to be Glorified. It is like that song “Be Glorified”.

We had an absolutely wonderful prayer meeting Wednesday. One of our families went to Lakeland for the meetings, and when they came back, they were powerful! Their prayers were so different. I went up for prayer for my healing and wow. I have finally come to the realization that I WILL be healed. I’ve known it in my head for years but never really believe it for me. Now I do. So Praise God for His goodness. He never gives up on us no matter how little our faith is.
Have you ever been to a nutritionist who deals with supplements? That might be helpful.
