Scripture uses adoption to describe salvation. When we are adopted as children, there’s no such thing as being un-adopted.

The Bible also says that we are “ Sealed “ with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.
The Bible makes it clear in Ephesians that we do not earn or buy our salvation, but it is a free gift.... those who think that their own righteousness , obedience, good works are going to get them to heaven are in for a rude awakening and disappointed.
Non of us can and never will be able to be good enough to get to heaven by God's standards.
The only standard God sees and accepts is the atoning power of Christ's blood.
But, the Bible also makes it clear that we are to live a life that is acceptable to God ( that is ? after we are saved ).
Non of us can ever be the judge of who is and who is not saved, it is God's choice in whom he will save, and God knows the hearts and lives of people. Yes, these kinds of questions are a big debate.
When we look at this question, we have to look at Jacob's life, God still pursued him, loved Jacob, even though Jacob was in sin and rebellion against God.
I believe if someone is God's chosen, God will pursue that person and give them chance after chance to repent....
