Prayer Request for My Brother-in-Law

My brother-in-law, Alan, is scheduled to undergo surgery Monday for melanoma. He is a seven year melanoma survivor.

Alan is a good man who has raised two fine boys and has two granddaughters.

UPDATE:

Alan’s surgery went well; the melanoma had traveled upwards from its center, but the surgeon was able remove all of it.

Blood tests indicate that it probably has not gone to the lymph nodes, and Alan's prognosis is good. He'll be home from work for a couple weeks, but is doing well.

Thank you for all your prayers. Your concern has truly touched Alan and my sister-in-law Susan's hearts.
