If you have questions, PLEASE don't be shy....ASK me or others here. I will be happy to help (as best I can) and I'm sure that others will be delighted to help also. If you have a question, that probably means that about a hundred other readers have the same question but they are too shy to ask :-)
If you know of another or a better 'help' web page, PLEASE post it :-)
If you know of a nice page with CD cover templates and / or cover artwork, PLEASE post it.....here are some free templates from Microsoft

![]() "The Passion According to St. Matthew" In 2007, Easter falls on the same day for the Roman Catholic and for the Orthodox Churches: April 8. A few days before Easter, there will be a remarkable musical meditation on the Passion of Christ in Rome involving leading Russian musicians and leading Vatican officials. Pope Benedict XVI shares the late John Paul II's hope and vision: Reunion with the Orthodox. So, this concert will take on a special ecumenical significance - another small step in the reunification of these two Churches.
This concert is unusual in its location, subject, composer, conductor, performers and, last but not least, its listeners: Cardinals Paul Poupard of the Pontifical Council for Culture and Cardinal Walter Kasper of the Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity, representatives of the Russian Orthodox Patriarchate of Moscow, and Mr. Nikolai I. Sadchikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentionary of the Russian Federation to the Holy See. Invitations will also be sent to the heads of all the dicasteries of the Roman Curia, and to the entire diplomatic community in Rome accredited to the Holy See. And so Rome, and the world, will hear a concert on the evening of March 29 which may mark a major advance forward in Catholic-Orthodox friendship on the eve of Holy Week. Inside the Vatican is a sponsor and the organizer of this concert. Would you like to join Inside the Vatican in person and sponsor the concert as well?
According to FloridaCatholic, the concert will be made available on DVD. To order a copy, keep checking the INSIDE THE VATICAN web site. |
Listening as we "speak". I love all Easter music.

What comfort this sweet sentence gives".

That concert looks wonderful, and I will be looking forward to buying the DVD.
Thanks very much for the information. :-)
You're quite welcome, and it's PARTICULARLY nice to hear from YOU :-)
I hope that you are mending well, getting lots of rest. Free Republic has suffered as a direct result of your absence, and we all hope that you will be back up to full health again soon
Best wishes to you, and please get well soon!
Thanks!
Thank you.
You're quite welcome and I hope that you and yours will enjoy the music :-)
What a beautiful rose you sent me! How did you know that it's my birth flower?
Leni
I'm delighted to hear that, and I hope that you'll continue to get lots of rest and mind the doctors and nurses :-)
Awwww...I'm so happy that you like the rose. I promise it was just a coincidence that it's your birth flower....I don't have spies peering into your personal records :-)
Many thanks! Such beautiful music.
You're quite welcome, and I'm delighted that you are enjoying it :-)
It's nice to have a quick reference to the link, I'm looking forward to having CD's made. A project for the weekend. Thanks for taking the time to make it so easy for us. :-)
I'm very happy that you are finding it all useful and helpful :-)
FYI, I've been making a thread like this for both Easter and Christmas every year for the past several years, and if you would like a 'reminder' about it at those times you may wish to consider joining either the Catholic or the Classical Music pinglists, in the event you aren't already a member, as I always will ping those lists.
My great hope is that FReepers' homes, nursing homes and homes of friends will be flooded with CD's of this great music because for me at least, it touches my heart in a very special and spiritual way and I would love for everyone to have the opportunity for the same experience.
Yes, thanks, I would like a reminder!
That's great!
In that case, you will need to FReepmail sitetest for the Classical Music pinglist (click on his/her name at post #5 of this thread and then send a mail to him/her requesting that you be added to the list) or for the Catholic list click on NYer's name at post #11 and do the same.
If you have any difficulties with this please let me know :-)
Hi Leni, I see you posting occasionally and no one seems to ask how are you. I am aware that you had a medical event and prayed for you, so happy to see you posting but you are away from home, correct? Prayers still going up for you my dear.
You have freepmail.
Leni
