Please join me in prayer for Antoinette who has lost vision in her right eye due to macular degeneration. I pray to Almighty God that this is a temporary situation only and that vision will be restored through the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God bless her.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers. I told Antoinette yesterday in Paducah, KY that so many prayers are being lifted up and she is so thankful for each of you.

Thank you so much for your prayers. Antoinette was the organist at the church I grew up in -- St. Paul Lutheran in Paducah, KY -- for 30 years. She is a faithful servant to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
She is the daughter of a missionary who was serving in India. She says that during WWII the Japanese were bombing Calcutta so she and the other children, along with her mother, came back to the U.S. by ship, while her father stayed in India to continue his ministries.
She is deeply touched by all the prayers, as am I.

Sympathetic prayers for Antoinette! Eye problems are no fun.
I have a question for you . . . do you have a relative who used to teach English in Texas? I had a Mrs. Reinheimer for freshman English, and she was a total hoot. (This would have been around 1983.)
I've never met anyone else with that name, though.
Thank you for lighting a candle for Antoinette. I copied the page and mailed it to her yesterday.
She is grateful for all the prayers and I hope there will be more.

So sorry to hear about this sad news.
Prayers for Antoinette.
Prayers in Jesus' Name that He will restore eyesight to Antoinette, and may His Name be glorified through this.
If He chooses in His wisdon not to restore her sight, I pray for His grace, mercy and peace to enfold her each and every moment as she finds new ways of doing things and spending her time.

Actually all my relatives in Texas are named Haltom. That was the Cherokee side of his people -- Dallas area.
The Reinheimer name belongs to my husband Quint.
But I will tell you that I taught psychology at Moraine Valley College and Joliet Junior College as an adjunct and it was a lot of fun. I would run classes full at 32-35 students and didn't have any drops.
It was a total hoot. And apparently the students learned enough to where it was worth sticking around for the whole semester for.
Thanks, though, for your thoughts. Sorry to say, I don't know any Reinheimers in Texas. Just Haltoms, and have an aunt in Houston -- name is Stubbe.
