Pastor Hutchinson is a PCA Teaching Elder.
Feel free to ping any presumed neeners.
Presumed neeners. :>)
You know how to hurt a guy....especially one from the "no list" sect within neenerdom. Rev should be there, scripter too.
We've converted OP & Jude to neenerdom via the "irresistible" clause. They need a ping from someone who still loves them.
(Feeling as though I just found out somebody riffled through my underwear drawer)
In regards to the article, I'd love it if some State made a Law requiring that an ultrasound be performed for the mother before an abortion be performed. Call it an "Informed Consent" law, whatever. For a procedure which shouldn't be Legal in the first place, I'm willing to play a little loose with my anti-regulatory libertarianism.
How many abortions are to save the mother or because the baby has a fatal disease? I think the number is very small. If you add to that number the total of abortions due to rape, or incest, the number is still probably pretty darn small 5% maybe? So, at least 90% of abortions are for the convenience of the mother or father. (I'm not sure of the %'s but I think I'm close).
To heck with the mother or fathers "feelings". The tragedy is the lost child!
We are losing our culture because of this. If you look at the number of aborted babies who would now be of working age and the number of illegal aliens in this country you will find the numbers are pretty close.
We don't keep lists, so we aren't even sure of what we know, much less what we're unsure of.
The Time article above is worded in such a way as to mischaracterize Crisis Pregnancy Centers. This is a pro-Planned Parenthood piece, imho, when you really get down to it.
But? Also? Why would this be a contrast? Sheesh, at my old Presbyterian church in Key West, a former ruling elder ran his own little microbrewery... tasted like $3 or $4 dollar a bottle beer, (really good stuff, imo) but the parishioners drank for free.
Hah! Touche'.
;-)
Dear Gamecock,
I'm a little puzzled at the parenthetical "Protestants Only."
Can you explain?
Thanks,

If I had a list I would have invited them!
Joy + Hops.
Probably where pew-walkin' came from.
:>)
What part don't you understand?
Yeah. You converted me while I was dead in my trespasses and sins against this forum (and so in exile).
Hey did you see the Luther statue on the "What think ye of Rome:2" thread?
If you feel like inventing a few extra neeners go ahead. We'll not miss them anyway. Missing folks can be construed as knowing who they are, that is, a list.
Neenerdom could definitely use a Holo-Deck.
And then you were irresistibly regenerated and invited back into the fellowship. (Which is sorta true in an odd kind of way.)
I better be careful, I might talk myself into full-blown irresistible grace here, if I'm not careful.
Can't have that, can we? :>)
Dear Gamecock,
Well, when I read "(Protestants Only)," that appears to be similar to a caucus designation.
But, I don't quite understand why folks would want to have a caucus designation on this topic. Usually, folks use the caucus designation so that the topic can be discussed without dissenting or critical remarks aimed at the caucus group.
I'm not exactly sure why this thread might be the target of criticisms directed toward Protestantism, specifically.
It seems to be an article about crisis pregnancy centers.

See, now you can feel our pain...
We'd minister to the afflicted neeners if we knew who they were.
