The letters on that eye chart suspiciously form a shape like the shape of the "All Small & Mighty" bottle.

So how exactly will they sell more detergent by insulting people? Your question must assume that they're willing to lose profit and sales just to hack off a segment of their market. I don't think businesses operate that way.
(But if you get it taken off the market I will hunt you down. That stuff can get spots out of anything.)

I'm sure they did extensive research with the average folks on the street before going with the name. I was wondering what the subset of religious minded people would think.
It seems that Unilever has correctly come to the conclusion that is evident here. The vast majority of people find that the name is cute in its somewhat hidden reference to the Almighty or don't think it is trying to reference Him at all. No money lost.

Personally, I just dont think that anyone goes into the store, and thinks that buying a detergent name 'such-and-such', has any religious implications...
Wasnt there something years ago, about some symbols on some sort of toothpaste bearing marks or symbols, that some religious folks found offensive..
To my way of thinking, there will always be folks who are looking deliberately for something to offend them, and then voila, they find something...
Just damn.
