You have persistently demonstrated that you

are unable

to contain yourself with all kinds of thoughts

. . . . that some of us consider less than edifying.

Dr Quix has pretty much left you alone. You really would prefer that state, I assure you.

In any case, you won't have the option of judging.

The University of where was that again? Must be so proud of you. And what precisely was the PhD in?

Not about to give you the specifics. I've been far too vulnerable over the years hereon as it is.

There is some possibility I will return to Mainland China. I need to be much more circumspect on identity stuff than is my natural bent.

The PhD was/is in Clinical Psychology.

Ummm allrighty then. So which of these reasons are fueling your decision to choose your field of study: In the psych field to figure out one's own issues, to make a buck or to help others? I have a pretty good guess based on your posts but let's hear your answer first.

The Lord's spoken word to me about 0200 in the morning walking on the old part of the beautiful treed campus of Northern Arizona University when it was still called Arizona State College in 1965.

You are getting cheekier. Watch it.

You also seem to fail to have even the most microscopic awareness and understanding of my compassion, caring and heart-felt love for other people--even strangers on the street.

Your extremely unChristlike abusive assaults are a sad commentary on your psychology and on your presumed Christianity.

BTW, HOTSHOT,

I've been

REPEATEDLY

MUCH

MORE

vulnerable, confessant, open, candid, broken, contrite, . . . .

hereon

about my flaws, sins, errors, craziness, whatever . . .

THAN ALL THE REST OF YOU COMBINED BY A WIDE MARGIN.

God knows it.

You know it.

Idle half-wit bystanders know it.

All of you, knock it off.

Unless, of course, you'd like to see this thread disappear.

Qx, I will speak up as one who lurks most of the time but follows the religion forum and is familiar with some of the regulars here:

It's true you are quicker to speak up and be authentic and make waves and take flak than others, and your unique thought patterns and use of language may startle or confuse folk, but you aren't a fraud nor are you unloving nor are you outside scriptural bounds with your posts here on FR.

Thank you for paying the price you pay to be who you are and to care about others.

JM

I am so glad that you have found courage and faith in the Doctrines of Grace, and that has led to a real meaningful ministry.
When we realize that it is REALLY all in Gods hands, and saying it is more than just words, we are freed to serve in a way that was never possible before.
I know that sounds strange to the 'free will" folks, but when you know that you are a tool in the masters hand, you know who it is making the pots. You can step out with assurance that is not possible if you think it is all you might fail.

The sovereignty of God does not take away anything from men.. it frees us to serve as he wills.

I love your testimony!
