More great news; day by day and bit by bit--and some bits are bigger than others! You have to figure also that we never hear about some of these captures--better to let the other guerrillas think that some of the prisoners we take are still at large or else dead. That way the guerrillas won't preemptively change locations & tactics to mitigate the results of our interrogations.

Thats basically what they said on the news this morning. They were keeping mum on exactly who it was they caught.
Its getting closer....we are coming for you Saddam.
. . . . BANG!!!!

Part of the interogation process should be to make them watch repeated and lengthy videos of Saddam's atrocities imaged on a big movie screen. In addition to scaring the crap out of them, it may give them a healthy appreciation of their good fortune to have been held by Americans rather than a fickle Saddam.

Interesting Analysis.

I thought this was an interesting bit of good news:
"Iraqi firefighters also extinguished a blaze at a pipeline in northern Iraq.
When it gets down to this level, it looks like the Iraqi-zation is succeeding even more than we thought.

The noose is tightening on Saddam. He's like a mouse with many cats after him. He's going to get hit, but he doesn't know when or where.
Sleep well, Saddam. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This may have been one of Saddam's safe houses. If so one less to go to. Parley

Chief Wiggles blog mentioned a piece of intelligence he had gathered was handed to Special Forces and they scored big-time. Wonder if one of these raids was his?

It may have been.

From the article:
The older man was "expected to be of great intelligence value," Russell said. "We cast a wide net; sometimes we get a dolphin, sometimes we get a shark."
OK, it wasn't funny.

Chief Wiggles blog mentioned a piece of intelligence he had gathered was handed to Special Forces and they scored big-time. If we need to know, it will be out soon enough. If not, in a few years when the SF guys start publishing their books (grin).
SF is kind of weird because it's one of the very largest consumers of intel -- but one of the largest producers, too. They have been flat-out busy, and you hear very little about them. That ain't accidental... let's leave 'em in peace to do their thing (and look forward to those books).

PS -- Wiggles and the guys like him do their thing, and in this war it's hyper important. They had no respect pre-911 and now all the commanders who thought his outfit was useless mouths to feed are screaming to clone him. -C18F
