We Must Fight the Evil Indians

We Must Fight the Evil Indians

I have learned from our champion that we must fight the evil Indians. The evil Indians are the fount of all evil in the world.

The evil Indians, our champion tells us, must share their wealth with us. They are rich and we are poor. We need their revenues to survive. They must give us a cut of their ill-gotten gain. It is only fair, says our champion. And we are so, poor, the evil Indians so rich. Our champion does not play that game.

So, I have learned well that this one issue –the evilness of the Indians -- is all that matters. I know that no other questions or thoughts need come to my mind. I know this, so, it is with trepidation I must ask, no beg, with humble respect, and as supplicant, for I know only our champion can win -- such has been told me by the men who defend our champion and tell us only our champion can win -- so I ask the following of our ever victorious champion’s men…

I know our champion will fight the evil red man who will not share his wealth -- will our champion also fight those who take our money and give it to the people who advocate and encourage young women to take their own child from their womb? Will he fight those who give our money – money they have taken from us -- to the people who then pay for the women to take their babies from their womb?

Will our champion fight those who seek to classify and categorize us based on who our mother and fathers are, categorize and catalog us based on what foods we like to eat, what languages we may know, where our ancestors lived and how we look?

Will our champion fight those who seek to take our money, our hard earned pay, to give to men who are special friends of other men, who share a domicile and claim to deserve to take our money for their special friend solely because they are special friends?

Will our champion fight those who take our money and chase business -- our livelihoods -- away because if they do not take our money and chase business away, the Earth itself will heat up so hot it will kill us all so, we must save the Earth by giving our money to them and chasing business away.

Will our champion fight those who have our money -- our money which we gave freely to educate our children -- will our champion fight those who do not allow us to use our own money to educate our children in schools other than those which teach our children not to read and write and do arithmetic, but teach that if we do not want to give our money to special friends, or do not believe the Earth is soon to burn up, if we do not give our money away to save the Earth, then we are evil and bad.

Our champion says no. He will not fight those things. He is with those who do these things. He is their champion. He will fight only the evil, evil Indians who will not share their vast riches with us poor who have nothing.

Perhaps our champion, our Emperor pre-elect, perhaps, just maybe, our champion has no clothes?

Well…not perhaps. He doesn’t. There are pictures. The men with special friends paid our champion for them.

Of course I know, only our champion can win. No other talk is allowed. Forgive me my vanity.

My sentiments are with McClintock, but this is off the mark. Schwarzenegger is making a legitimate point that Indian gambling has become too powerful in state politics. Their campaign cash is buying them far too much influence, and I'm disappointed that McClintock took it. I'd much rather that he had pledged to rein them in than accept their money.

If you are for Prop 54 you should should be against the Indian Mafia laws. They allow one race of people exclusive right to start a tax-free business based solely on their ancestry.

You sound like a blind man who upon encountering an elephant's trunk, set off to warn the population about a giant hovering snake.

Indians have had it rough over the centuries. They suffer dispreportionally from fetal alcohol syndrome, diabetes, poverty and many other afflictions of the dispirited and disenfranchized from there centuries old culture.

Now, I am not going to debate you. You lack citation or reasoned argument here to support your argument, infact an argumant is hard to find in your vanity at all.

I would suggest you learn more of the issue before jumping in like this.

Gambling is an affliction too, and I don't like casinos much either. But you look like a man waving a knife at a gunfight. And a good example of why Jim Robinson posted yesterday asking us not to do what you are doing here.

This is the kind of literary excellence you would never find on DU or any other site. Bravo for the well-educated!

One little, two little, three little Endians!

You should have just conquered rather then making treaty with then sovereign (and still partly autonomous) people.

I agree. We must fight the greedy outsourcers who have sent so many American IT jobs to Bombay, Delhi and Calcutta.

Maybe it's just me, but I think tallhappy has gotten WORSE than last week. Maybe he/she just can't find any pro-McC articles to post and now has to resort to writing them him/herself.

Pretty pathetic.

So are you suggesting that we tax them in order to reduce their influence? How much should they be taxed in order for their influence to be reduced to the point that you feel comfortable with them. And once you have started down that road, do you think talk radio hosts should be taxed because they have become very influential. Likewise, should rich people have their taxes increased because they can do the same thing as the Indian tribes, which is pay for independent advertising?

I am offended by your use of the term "Indian." You should use the politically correct term. Thanks for playing.

Our champion's people say do not ask questions.

Logic, no.

Whoever is the recipient of the benefits of affirmative action gaming laws should repay the taxpayers for the infrastructure that has been provided by the taxpayers. Those affirmative action law benders should also be barred from making unlimited independent expenditures in political races.
