I heard a funny story about David Lee Roth back in the early 90's when his fame was slinking away.

He had a tricked out van he would drive around showing off all his gold records that were mounted on the inside.

Someone stole the van!

Don't know if its an urban legend or not, but I laughed hard the first time I heard it.

Me too! Saw them in 85 at the Garden. They were awesome!

Correction - yes, they were awesome (I kept my guitar under my bed for a month after seeing Eddie play) - but that was in '84, and I believe they only played one night there - so I was at that show, too.
