What makes you think legalizing the current illegals will put a dent in the numbers of Mexicans eager to work here for peanuts, a Mexican population shortage? I never said that. I said I don't think the flow of illegals is dependent on all that. , meaning that illegal mexicans will be coming here no matter what.

Very true. I live in a union town, and the workers aren't happy about Bush's policies at all because they know that soon illegals will be competing for their jobs

I'm a union member, too so I know how they feel. But all union members need to know that over-all the democrats are pushing for amnesty more than Bush.

By the way, I got Luis Gonsilly on another thread. Maybe I'll get banned tonight. Wish me luck.

Catholic Church

I was brought up Catholic and it isn't the same church anymore. To many marxist run it now. Wish they'd go back the way it used to be.

This might help

That thread was started about 4 days ago so I guess he's lost interest. I think Luis likes an audience and will lose interest if its one-on-one. I remember the time three of us got into it with him (you, me, and I think it was JoeHadenuf. Also WRhine joined in later) and he seemed to be really fired up and started the name-calling, pretzel logic, and fabrications. Another time it was just him and me. He just faded off as if he was disappointed that he had such a small audience.

Luis tries to scare everyone off with his windbag tactics. He claims that it is we who don't understand, yet it is really he who doesn't understand the anger of Americans who are forced by our own government to finance an invasion of poverty, ignorance and dependence, actually having it shoved down our throats against our will.

He must not understand that many Americans are having trouble paying their own bills, let alone being forced to pay billions of dollars to support illegal aliens like we have to do here in California. The anger is real against our elected ones who have sworn to protect America's interests but who are turning their backs on us, the ones who are paying the bills while we watch our towns turn into Mexico.

windbag tactics.

I like that one. Got to remember it.

Everything you say in your post is true. The part you left out is that it fact that even the legal immigrants coming in, vote overwhelmingly democrat. Just use your state of California. Before this invasion (pre-1990) your state usally broke republican. Now, after and during this invasion its breaking heavily democratic. How does Luis expect republicans to compete against this? Well, maybe he's just a troll or just naive (and a windbag).

I guess I'll sign off for the night. Good luck out there in California.

Many insitutions change-likely all do-over time. Some are strong enough to survive the changes ( their underlying philosophy is valid ), but many fall prey to the masses, personal or petty predjudices, tidal shifts in so-called popular culture, &etc.

This forum has changed. Read the last post, if it remains...

Louis is a strange fellow-seemingly confused. Are is he who he pretends to be?? I wonder about many on the forums...they could be only possing provocative issues & then using the podium for other purposes. They could be anyone. Consider the possiblities.

Good to see a reply from you.

We're in the middle of an immigration discussion right now on another thread. You might want to check it out.

From what I hear, even when we do set the deportation process into action, it doesn't work too well either.

No doubt the system needs to be improved but our government has made little effort to improve it.

I'll get back to you latter.
