They've never cleared up his role in the slaughter of women and children at Mount Carmel in 1993.
I say let this guy run - he's a disaster for the Dims. I hope they nominate him. I guarantee the world will hear about all this stuff and more from the Bush campaign.

No -- there would be a media blackout and it would go unreported; too risky

Haven't I heard Airiana Huffington's name associated with Soros?

You suggested yesterday we provide the Dean campaign with some Clark dirt - here's a link to do that with specific suggestions. If the morning C-Span callers are any indication Clark isn't budging Dean supporters. They resent the Clinton connection. Clark is part of a power-play by the Clintons to regain their hold on the party machinery. Those resentments run deep among some and the only large threat is if the Democrat's hatred of Bush can overcome their hatred of Clinton-McAuliffe. (At least from my view.)

Clark is part of a power-play by the Clintons to regain their hold on the party machinery.Well said! Dean bought himself a world of hurt when he said (back in July, I think) that McAuliff was incompentent and the Dem party was due for a housecleaning. The Clintons took that as a direct attack on them and are using Clark to make sure they keep control of the party. (Dean should be grateful they decided to run Clark instead of having Dean commit "Arkancide.") Any thinking Dem has to realize how much the Clintons have set the Democrats back. But thinking isn't the Dem strong suit, I'm not as confident as you that Dean can hold his supporters.
