To me,the real tragedy is that these barbaric practices are most likely condoned by many in the Muslim world who see the West and all the decadence and moral rot and say"Not here,baby"!
So we have these two extremes going on-the absolute flaunting of immorality and perversion here and in Europe and the completely reactionary and savage medeival suppressions of some in the Islamic world.
Can we ever have some BALANCE in this world?
