Bush needs to stand up acknowledge the problem and the propose solutions. No, you need to acknowledge the problem, Jeepguy. You and your friends aren't paying enough attention. He has addressed the problem many times, and has made many changes including a few tax cuts, putting your own money back in your pocket. Do you think it's coincidence that the tax cuts, the stock market resurgence, and the improved economic numbers of this year all started at about the same time?

I never hear anyone express fear of another attack.
Conversations that mention terrorism always turn to jokes about the idiot airline procedures or the waves of criminal invaders through our borders.
Nobody but a few bug eyed leftists even talk about Iraq.No one listens to them.
It seems like it's just someone else's business in the minds of most.
If there was another big one here on the CONUS, I imagine there'd be a re-awakening, but it's pretty off the radar right now.

I guess it's just a different perspective. I walk past at least two armed HMMWVs (essentially Jeeps for you civilians out there) every day. It's always in my face and in my consciousness.

People say one thing and do another (e g higher retail sales, auto sales, home sales)...if people are "scared" why are they buying things?
