[history]
Arnold Schwarzenegger, skipping the first debate of California's recall election, was egged Wednesday on a university campus but went ahead with a speech in which he said he is running for governor to give back to a state that is responsible for all his success.

I don't know. I wouldn't recommend attacking this guy.
To: ambrose
Well, it could be worse. On election night, a lot of McClintock supporters will have egg on their faces.
To: demlosers
That's despicable. Only from the garbage that can't win elections by civil means could we expect this.

Man! That is one crazy picture. The atomic-yellow yolk, that guy's bright red perm, the shocked faces in the crowd as Arnold grins. Just all very strange. Sometimes happenstance outdoes Photoshop.

Enough of that about McClintock.
This sort of behavior is outrageous. I'd love to see Arnie jump into the crowd and "terminate" the egg tosser.

So, who egged him? A McClintock supporter or a Bustamante supporter?

Can you explain the difference? Isn't a McClintock supporter, by his own nature, a supporter of Bustamante?
To: demlosers
What a bunch of cretins. LaRaza is a group of racists. I am not shocked they by their behavior as we have seen much worse in the past.
Most Californians don't want to pay for illegal immigrants. I guess they just can't accept that fact.
Sounds like Arnold took the classy way out & just removed his jacket. He should have also taken of his shirt & hit a Most Muscular!

No, a McClintock supporter is true to his conservative values & beliefs. I think Arnold will win, but I doubt I will vote for him unless he brings McClintock on as the budget butcher.

"This sort of behavior is outrageous. I'd love to see Arnie jump into the crowd and "terminate" the egg tosser."If he did, you'd claim it was 'roid rage and use it as another reason to despise him.
To: B Knotts
Funny how these jokers never cease from their efforts to get a flame war going...
Every McClintock person on here so far has expressed disgust with the egg tossing, yet they want to resume their flame war. Amazing.
Guys, can't we get along? Can't we agree to disagree on policy but agree that this is outrageous? Or are we too far gone now?

Why do I get the feeling someone is going to take some shots at Arnold before election day? No shortage of nutjobs in CA and he's a magnet right now.

How did he know to wear a yellow jacket? Are you trying to say that this was a staged event?
Isn't there enough conflict going on here already without you trying to stir up more?

It does seem that there are some here with the mission to drive conservatives
away from Arnold and actually cause a divide, doesn't it.

I think he was just making a joke about Arnold's often questionable fashion sense.
A lot of us made fun of his gigantic blue ring too, after it was very prominent in a lot of his campaign photos.

I think he was just making a joke about Arnold's often questionable fashion sense. Perhaps, but I'm not quite so sure it was really a joke. There was an implication of some specific reason to wear a yellow jacket to an egging.
