"I'm very troubled by the proliferation of arms, at the fact so many people in the United States carry guns. It obviously contributes greatly to the crime problems we have. I'm sure gun laws should be strengthened in the United States. I just don't know the correct mechanism."

In other words, you don't have a friggin' clue on the subject, but feel that your Hollywood star status somehow compensates for it...

Go shag that anorexic bag of bones you've been hangin' with, Harry, and leave the deep thinking to the professionals.

My hubby is going to be disappointed to hear this from Ford, he loved his movies, but is a firm believer in boycotting.

He should immediately renounce all the movies he has made glorifying guns. After all, Diane Feinstein thinks they are bad.

Lots of movies we're seeing now are more akin to video games than stories about human life and relationships,"

If I remember correctly wasn't there a video game about the Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Oh the irony!

I just don't know the correct mechanism

That's because he rides the short bus politically.

I have found it surprisingly effortless to avoid seeing movies in which politically clueless but vocal actors participate.

I don't expect one addition to the list to change anything.

Ford's career is in the toilet. His last two releases, HOLLYWOOD HOMICIDE and K-19 THE WIDOWMAKER, were embarrassments, grossing less than their negative cost. He is now making another installment of the INDIANA JONES franchise, a sure sign of desperation as he had earlier, and loudly, declared he wouldn't sign up for one. He could play the Sean Connery part by now, with somebody like Tobey McGuire as Indy. His muddled remarks in Madrid are yet one more piece of evidence that chronic pot smoking addles the brain.

Anyone ever see him in a live interview? He's the most inarticulate, mentally challenged actor I've ever heard open his mouth.

Ford is in Madrid to promote his latest release "Hollywood Homicide"

Guess I have no reason to see this, now.
