Good morning.

Such a sad story. Imho, Schiavo is a scumbag.

Did you'all hear of a FReep somewhere in FL Sunday? Melbourne, Sarasota? Maybe it's just that in my old age I'm hearing things.

What my concern is kinda like you is that the family portraying everyone that disagrees with them as evil monsters.

My exp. tells me that there are those who do not support the idea that disabled people have a right to life because they are not productive members in the working society.

But I have never seen a group of people commited to ending a life.

Abortion is wrong IMO even in rape cases. I would fight to change laws I would not shoot a Dr. for doing a legal service.

So yes I have my doubts about the people involved. Bottom line it is wrong as the rules I live by to end another humans life.

I beleive when the blood ceases to flow through ones veins beyond anyones control than that is death. God has choosen it is final.

Point 1: Terri told her husband she would not want to be alive in if she was in a vegetative state.

Were you present when this event occurred? Is it documented? How are you certain her husband didn't have somethig to do with her current condition?

I haven't seen the video you claim is packed with disinformation. As a health care provider, I believe it is cruel to keep the patient's location and condition from this woman's parents--unless they pose an immediate threat to her safety.

I see today is your first day in FR, and it is evident you have an agenda. Do you work for George Felos?

I have GI problems. Even havehad drs. suggest surgery.

I would face needing a poop bag and possibly a g tube temporarily.

Now I have difficulting swallowing too but if I (hope to God not) ever agree to surgery to prolong my life and have to have a g tube but I can still walk, talk ect is that any different in your opinion than a crippled body having the same choice.

The doctors told me after my sons berth injuries and up untill he was a few years old that he would be severly retarded.

I knew diff. he started laughing at me at 2 months and around six months I would say ring ring and he would lok up at the wall phone. (we use to have wall phones)

Luckily I never believed the drs. and through my perserverance other drs. came to us and put us in programs to train us to communicate in other ways (augmentive).

King Vanity (my son) was a B+ student back in high school.
He has told me if he had no disability he would be a lawyer and working in DC in the political realm as an advisor. Now that is scary!

In my case it would be my husband.

If his parents wanted the job of his total care and I didn't I would turn over guardianship to them and walk away.

The reason we probably can't see eye to eye is I believe men and woman think differently. I also am not for woman on the front lines. And men make better lawyers, doctors ect. We are not wired the same. It also is what makes men attractive.

I thought of finding a life long mate when I was still young and attractive.

By the time I introduced my son every guy hit the door. I do not blame them.
It would not be fair to spend so much time caring for my son and not give equal time to a husband.
In the long run staying chaste and single was the best choice.
Unfortunetly as Jimmy Carter put it I see a good looking guy and have lust in my heart. To put it delicate as possible.

Calling me and others who respect the sanctity of life foolish and zealots---that is rich--while your threats against anyone who would cross you are ugly.

btw--You didn't answer my question about your relationship to George Felos.

Welcome to FR. Troll.

"On that fact alone they are admitting that the vast preponderance of the evidence indicates she is in a vegetative state."

Even if that were true, it doesn't give the husband the right to starve her to death. That is just inhumane. Period.

Hey he is guilty of thinking like a man.

Sorry guys.

Bottom line IMO the husband of Teri's is giving the appearance that he has moved on with his life. He should do the decent thing and give guardianship to her parents and walk away.

Folks that do not perceive and live life by the rules we do are like ahhh
Hillary Clinton and all the dopey lefties of the world. No matterwhat we say they are not apt to see the truth as we know it.

But I respect everyones right to an opinion.

If we all thumbed are noses at lefties and never listen to their views we would IMO loose the battle out of ignorance.

Your name calling list has grown from zealot, foolish to lunacy. You are on a roll.

100% pro-life Christian--please cite Jesus' teaching where witholding Teri's "life support" is pro-life and Christian in value? Life support in Teri's case is essentially the same as caring for an infant. Should every parent have the right to cease caring for their dependentsthrough starvation?

Yikes. My son is very happy to be alive in his shell of a body.

He has his days where I annoy the hell out of him cleaning this stoma sites and washing him to ward off infections but to want to die? No

The only time to be honest that he ever wanted to die was when he was 7yrs old and could not stand to drink another gulp of Ensure plus and had enough of the force feedings via mouth then the doc suggested a feeding tube.

Boy is he glad there was an alternative.

Your right it is not any of our business legally.

Morally we cannot make choices for others either.

But we sure as hell can pray and support one another to save this womans life.
