It'll likely be Dean and Clark

This is my guess, too. Dean would stimulate the liberal base, while Clark could sway the moderates, simply on his military experience.

I think that Bush/Cheney will destroy them though. One problem that the dems have is that the GOP can take California if they play the cards right on their deficit.

It seems possible that dems will have to choose a VP candidate from California, just to keep the state, but noone comes to mind.

My prediction is that Bush will take California, and win by a massive landslide.

The bubba part was humor :>)

The other reasons why she wouldn't go in 04 are intended to be serious.

NY is traditional dem party territory. I'm sure something explains that, but my take is that the dems keep telling NYers that their the smartest, most with-it people on the planet.

Flattery seems to work in NY.

NY'rs susceptible to flattery...hmmm cute.. but the big problem ..and the reason a slug like a RED Hillary could carpetbag there to victory is..:

1. A majority "taker" class (The state is close to supporting more "free riders" with a minority of "producers"... people that actually work for a living..)NY State is really a microcosm of the Soviet proletariat.

2. Unions... thug politics can be very effective.

3. Very dumb soccer moms.

I hear Bubba's now helping Gray Davis withstand the recall vote... California, with a Republican governor who just might turn the state's fortunes around, could force Hillary to spend more time campaigning there then she wants to...very expensive and very time consuming.

The Clintons always plan ahead.

LOL I have been a "Freeper" before they were called "Freepers"...

When I first began posting here I could log on and read EVERY post and EVERY response in 20 minutes.

I said back then and I'll say again... Jim Robinson is a modern day Paul Revere... Free Republic became a beacon of alarm when the Clintons began attacking American liberty...

I firmly believe that without this forum alone...Al Gore would be president today!

That's not a personal belief, it's a fact of life.

I'm predicting that the Dem candidates are all pre-positioned weaklings that will fail to get strong individual support during the Dem national convention.

In a pre-arranged, 'emergency' move, Hillary will arrange to have herself 'drafted' into the presidential nomination. She will go to the podium and 'reluctantly' accept.

Dems and especially women everywhere, will rejoice and vote for her in unprecedented numbers...This will even include women who voted Republican last time, but secretly want a woman to succeed, from an emotional standpoint, not a rational one.

Can GW prevail against this ploy?

This is just the sort of propaganda, spin, and hypothetical rhetoric the Clinton camp want to get started! Wesley Clark is the pampered, perfumed prince to Hillary’s Red Queen and the pundits will run with this. She has always expected to be drafted by the DNC for 2004.

Neither of them understand the economics of running this country except to gain and maintain power through rules and regulations for the Socialist elite. I can’t imagine a worst scenario for America or for any country. She trashed the White House once; don’t let her do it again.
