I'm talking about the small groups of people who join together to throw insults and try to label people who say things they don't like.

I've seen it here for three years so I assume you have too.

At first they intimidated me , but now I understand their tactics and don't leave.

Lots of good people have left Free Republic due to what I'm talking about. But as I told them there are a lot of other people who need to hear what they have to say.

That's why I have chosen not to be silenced.

I concur with you . You have to remember the fact that the web compliments most of us in our lives while for some folks it is there life .

Just ignore the battle axes & have pity for them .

But , you have to remember there are people with an agenda. My agenda is trying to find the Truth and share it with others so they can make educated decisions in their life.

I don't want to control or mislead anyone.

I've had my share of spankings and attacks.

It comes down to knowing that the people who DON'T want what you are saying to be heard are going to throw insults and labels at you so others don't listen. Or they will add their own words to what you have said to make it obviously wrong so others won't listen to you. Or if you hit a nerve and they know they will lose or that others will listen , they won't even acknowledge that you are in the article.

The battle axes can sometimes be censors and you have to pay attention to that or accept not being heard.

Yes .. I've no rebuttal to those comments . It happens & thank goodness the web is here . I'd rather have knowledge and data than a simple personnality clash anytime

I too , am greatful for this forum.

I look hard for the Truth so I can share it with others.

I have my limits , I try to repeat as close as possible what I have read in the interest of sharing thoughts and searching for the Truth.

With me , it's that simple.

I'm not trying to deceive anyone or talk over their heads to make them feel small.

I look forward to your future comments.

It's not a contest with me , it's our future.

I hope we both have a good one.
