Any Thoughts On How Homosexuals Will Celebrate Their Big Win in the Supreme Court Today?
AveMaria

Posted on 06/26/2003 9:52:12 AM PDT by AveMaria

Today Morning, I received a phone call from a cousin living in San Francisco, who says that she was woken up from her sleep by cheering in the apartment building and street she lives in. Because of the time differences, many in San Francisco received the news of the Supreme Court ruling legalizing sodomy very early, just as they were waking up or having breakfast. Many were still at home and had not yet reported to their places of work.

Apparently, the celebrations were so loud, the scenes in my cousin's apartment building resembled a great hometown sporting victory. She is heterosexual, but she estimates that 30 percent of people in her neighborhood are gay (there goes the neighborhood). Many gays in the neighborhood are planning to celebrate in a big way today evening.

Any guesses on how gays will celebrate their big win today evening, and over the weekend?

My cousin has little choice in her neighborhood, because it is located very close to the consulting firm she works for. And she does not expect to get any sleep tonight, because her noisy fairy neighbors will drown the neighborhood in song and dance.

homosexuals have naive women to thank. I predict an std spike over the next six months.

This has just made a costitutional DOMA part of the 2004 landscape.

No thoughts here. I'll just go along blissfully unconcerned with what other people are doing with their genitals.

And why do you care? I could not possibly care less about what you do with your genitalia, why are you so concerned about what other people do with theirs? If the gay community creates noise, call the police and file a complaint; just like everyone else.

The leftie hypocrisy is sickening.

They whine, moan and complain about second hand smoke but they DEMAND that we celebrate the bathhouse activities that spread STDs.

It is you who has a dirty mind.

For all we know, "celebrating" may involve nothing more than fritos and dip.

A little intellectual honesty would go a long way. As the homosexuals claim to have had the right to have sex any way they want, your post of "how do you suppose they will celebrate" is pretty obvious.

Please grow up.

A lot of celebrating with the chant "We're Here, We're Queer, Get Over It!". Thank you members of the US Supreme Court ... you pompous, arrogant, liberal, out of touch with reality air heads. Air heads is much to kind ... I can't print in a public forum what I really think.

"Conservative, aburpt, and logical. I hold religion to be a deeply personal issue, and never a public one. Those who would espouse their religion, faith or superstitions upon the public, are to be more feared than terrorists at large. For terrorists know they are doing evil to obtain their ends. Religious fanatics, on the other hand, believe that their actions are inherently 'good', even as they trample the rights, dignity and lives of those they wish to 'save'.

I have little use for the self-religious. If you cannot defend an idea without resorting to religion, and/or your interpetation of scriptures; you are a either simply stupid or gullible, either way, devoid of individual thought. For each of us has our own religion, and interpretations; Buddhist, Muslum, Atheist, Christian, Jewish, Wiccian and Satanic are all equal under the laws of the land. Logic is the only common trade piece."

After reading your profile page, I can see why you are writing what you are writing.

P.S. You might want to run your profile paragraph through a spell checker.

Nope, couldn't disagree with you more. GWB is the one breathing the big sigh of relief this morning, he does NOT want homosexuality as a national campaign issue next year. It might play well in the backwaters, but at the national level, the RNC is glad to have this issue off the table.

If the decision had gone the other way, the airwaves would have been full of Rat candidates proclaiming that we need one of them to "take the Court back" from the Republican Party. Bush would have had to make statements that would win him no friends. Now, he can concentrate on the issues of the economy and national defense.

The SF gays will celebrate in their time honored tradition of buttless chaps, leather caps, sado-masochistic get up and 'acting out'. Throw in some vandalism, small time arson and public sex and that's a typical 'pride' parade.

You know, the typical public behavior they indulge in when they want to show the rest of America how they are just like the rest of us and are deserving of special laws and priviledges.

The sorts of things that those poor little rodents are put through, makes me so angry, that I sometimes feel like joining an animal rights organization.

How come PETA never protests the disgusting things that are doneto those cute little creatues?

I wonder how any human being would feel, if he was ever put through what those poor gerbils have to endure.

I neither know nor care how the homos will celebrate this ruling, but the "ERADICATE THE QUEER MENACE NOW!!!" crowd must be pretty despondant over this.

This makes me pretty happy as those folks are nothing more than big-government socialists with a different agenda.

Far more conservative heterosexuals engage in consensual sodomy than liberal homosexuals. Which do you object to: sodomy or homosexuality?

They will commit sodomy, just like they did last weekend. Very little human behavior will change because of the decision, just as the laws against sodomy affect almost no-one.

I object to liberalism and liberal lies.

I object to affirmative action-ism.

I object to thought-crime type enforcement of the correct way to think about certain issues.

I object to favoritism, quotas and special protected classes of minorities.

All of these things are manifested in the modern homosexual movement.

Surely you jest.

The Moral Ayatollahs are frightened!
Something has been made legal ! All of them that worship government as a religion will now run out and commit the newly legal acts!

Don't you know that only the Law enables them to control themselves?!?!

I really don't think this ruling is going to have any effect on STD infection rates. If you are assuming that there are homosexuals out there who have been refraining from various acts because they are illegal in their state, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn you might be interested in!

OTH, if you are talking about an increase due to the "celebration" activities in which many homosexuals might engage as a result of this ruling, you might be on to something.

So, you are proposing that we allow the gov't the power to break down your bedroom door, arrest and incarcerate you (as in the case that brought this whole thing to the Supreme Court) simply because it may taint the blood supply??

But don't you see the symbolic importance of the court ruling? It means that their fun and games (e.g. leapfrog) now enjoy legal recognition.
