Yes the economy was floating along on the since burst Internet bubble. I give him no credit nor blame for this. But other than travel around the world to the tune of around $100,000,000 in travel expenses the only major initiative I can think of is the Family Leave Act. And, as far as that goes it's just a pre-cursor to a one day Federally mandated and funded way to decrease the work days ala France and Germany's socialist schemes.
Racial reconciliation? Again I ask what did he do towards that goal other than play the Saxophone?
Under his leadership, the United States has enjoyed the strongest economy in a generation and the longest economic expansion in U.S. history. President Clinton's core values of building community, creating opportunity, and demanding responsibility have resulted in unprecedented progress for America, including moving the nation from record deficits to record surpluses; the creation of over 22 million jobs more than any other administration; low levels of unemployment, poverty, and crime; and the highest homeownership rate in history.
I think we all know what his legacy really is.
All in all, one great President....of a fraternity maybe...not a country.
