Probably some of the numbers are imaginary but some of the books are real and stashed away somewhere. Let's think. If we were Hiltlery's book where would we hide? LOL.

The conniving Clintons are so cunning that they must have factored in a truck driver, cleaning lady, or a night shift worker, spilling the beans. So the books must be in a place that is never visited unless by its owners. I wonder if their neighbors up in Chappaqua have seen trucks coming and going to the house?

I was thinking about those huge vaults in Utah where people store stuff in what used to be salt mines. There are also any nember of huge spaces in NYC that used to be mfg facilities.

If push does come to shove, they will have to subpoena S&S accountants, truck drivers, printers, in order to get at the truth.

Not to defend Her Heinous, but the Amazon rank is Amazon sales. There are lots of other venues that sell books and those are factored into the ranking other than Amazon.

I didn't use your link, but just typed in www.lileks.com on my browser and it worked...took me to The Daily Bleat, which is his weblog. From there you need to hit his link to The Institue of Official Cheer and I think you will find it. Be sure to also visit The Gobbler, which is another motel.

I love that site. He is one of the best writers on the web, and absolutely the funniest, with maybe the exception of IowaHawk.

Oh I know, but it makes me SOO happy to know she isn't selling well where much of my liberal family buys their books: Amazon. (Mom bought it in the store, sigh!)

Enough said for the supposed smartest woman in the world!

Good point, made by Ms. Malkin as well. For someone supposedly so smart, Hillary! sure does some dumb things, and gets herself into scrapes that even ordinary folks like me are smart enough to somehow avoid. She can't remember things, lets herself get duped by scam artists and a bumbling, smarmy mate with an overactive libido and who can't seem to keep his fly zipped for anyone but her, and is unable to give a news conference or interview without questions provided in advance (i.e., cheating). For someone who is supposed to be so smart, she sure looks pretty dumb. (And the 'Rats have the nerve to say Bush is dumb when they've got dumb-as-dirt Hillary! around...)

I found an article for an earlier Tonken thread that stated that Tonken was Canadian. Anyone know if Tonken's a US citizen? Cause if he isn't, he might be in some more hot water for some Dem contributions he also made.

Not Utah. Too many Republicans there.

However, I know there are similar storage facilities in old limestone quarries in Missouri, up around Kansas City and St. Joseph.

Hmmmm.

Also, what about hazardous waste facilities in places like New Jersey. I bet you could put a lot of books in one of those barrels.

Which leads me to barges and landfills....

Garbage barges.....landfill. Remember the infamous garbage barge that traveled the world looking to dump its cargo? Betcha they got the books on a barge and are going from port to port to dump 'em.

Clinton's phony offshore speaking tours could have been a scouting expedition and an opportunity to grease the palms of local pols to take the books of his hands.

Be sure to also visit The Gobbler, which is another motel.

I believe I saw that one the last time you sent me over there. IIRC, that was the one with the loud decor and bad 60's architecture that featured turkey dinners as it's main attraction!

HAHAHA! Where does this guy come up with this stuff! Too funny, I'm glad it's still going.

The best thing he had on thee he has removed because he is making a book about it. It was a Better Homes and Gardens Decorating book from the 70's. It was full of Spanish motif, cheesy Brady Bunch decor, weird wallpaper, horrible color combinations, shag rugs, etc. with the most hilarious comments I have ever read.

I will definitely buy that when it is published. I am kicking myself I didn't print the darn thing when he had it posted.

FBI SEIZES DOCUMENTS IN CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION OF HILLARY CLINTON SENATE CAMPAIGN

Storage Facility Raided, Clinton Photographs and Documents Seized

Search Warrant Sought Documents Related to Hillary’s Campaign For Senate, Hollywood Tribute To Bill Clinton, Hillary’s Campaign Finance Director Also Targeted

(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, reported that the FBI seized documents relating to Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. The documents were seized in a May 30 raid of a California storage facility containing documents of Peter Paul, the entrepreneur who funded Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign with over $2 million dollars in direct, in-kind contributions which were never reported by Hillary Clinton or her Senate campaign, as required by law. Mr. Paul's money funded the August, 2000 production of “The Hollywood Gala Farewell Tribute To President Clinton,” which featured many Hollywood stars. Mr. Paul’s support for the event was also publicly denied by Mrs. Clinton in The Washington Post and in a debate with then opponent Rick Lazio. The government is seeking the cooperation of Mr. Paul, who is in a Brazilian prison pursuant to an U.S. extradition request on alleged stock and bank fraud. Mr. Paul has already provided evidence to Justice Department investigators in Brazil about the criminal activity of Bill and Hillary Clinton. Mr. Paul told the Department of Justice about the documents and storage facility ten months ago, and had provided them with documentation (checks, videos, financial statements) of his work for the Clintons in early 2001. Mr. Paul donated the over $2 million to the Clinton campaign as part of a $17 million offer to Bill Clinton to work with him after he left the Oval Office.

The search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of the storage facility specifically references the Clintons and the New York Senate campaign. The search warrant authorizes the seizure of:
Records relating to New York Senate 2000, the Hollywood Gala Salute to President William Jefferson Clinton, the Federal Election Commission, David Rosen and Aaron Tonken...
(David Rosen was the Director of Finance for Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign, and Aaron Tonken is a Democrat fundraiser who raised money for the Clintons. Both men have knowledge of Mr. Paul’s contributions.)

“Mr. Paul could have turned the documents about the Clintons over to the FBI months ago under a cooperation agreement. Instead, he waits in a Brazilian dungeon for the Ashcroft Justice Department to get serious about this corruption case. So it is a welcome sign that the Justice Department is turning up the heat on this new crime scandal concerning the Clintons,” stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

Attorney General John Ashcroft received 59,535 petitions late last year from Judicial Watch supporters protesting Mr. Paul’s disparate treatment and demanding full justice against the Clintons in this new scandal

How could the brilliant, ethical, do-gooder Hillary get herself entangled with such a creep?

As the late Fats Waller would have said, "One never knows, does one?" Bwahhahahah!
