Good morning Kathy!
This wayward gang has stolen my purple cow!
This picture should help indentify her, should she wind up in Alaska!

WOMEN'S REVENGE
"Cash, check or charge?" I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. "So, do you always carry your TV remote?" I asked. "No," she replied, "but my husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most legal evil thing I could do to him."

Good morning afternoon tomkow!
Trying to butter me up with cookies, huh?
Well, you guys have my Purple Cow. Cookies are not going to get you any where with me!!
Fruit is healthier than cookies!
I suggest, you have a Mango!
To: bentfeather
I've never seen a purple cow (up close and in person)
I never hope to see one
But I can tell you anyhow
I'd rather see than be one.
;)

LaDivaLoca this is excellent.
I love this :
Precious Cargo
Anonymous
We shall never view our mission lightly
Like those who have nothing to lose
Rather, we carry our brothers tightly
Precious cargo in those times we choose
Heaven will help not those who come between
Our home, our path, our goal
For fury shall be brought to bear;
Against oppression, death our toll
What becomes of you, my friend
Whence we release you from our eagle's grasp
Only a few shall ever know
But believe during those long hours
That Night Stalkers are near
And fear your enemy will know.

Kathy, you don't want to know the troubles I've seen, as the old song goes...
Suffice it to say that the cable company and I are not seeing eye-to-eye. The technicians did their job quite well, but the sales/marketing staff tried to sell me a bill of goods.
Our company does not provide modem-to-computer networking solutions in outlying towns, and the marketeers/sales staff led me to believe that they did. The installer arrived without any networking components, leaving me high and dry.
I've gone out and ordered what I need to network 3 PCs on a wireless LAN and we will see -- hopefully by tomorrow -- if the quick-connect left by the techies is all that's left to hook up to their high-speed internet service.
If not...well...we'll see!
In the meantime, we live in the land of dial-up!!!
