It was an opinion, and I did not say most. I stand by it. Many heterosexuals do or have engaged in anal sex. Howard Stern has made it a common topic of discussion.

Maybe, I wouldn't know. I never looked for stats on anal sex. I'll take a look in a bit, see what I find.
Question....why would you think you could have sex with the nastiest, dirtiest, orifice in the human body, and NOT catch a disease? That is why you don't see many "Old" queers. When I graduated HS in "69, there was about 8 known STD's. Now there is over 50. Most of which come frome sticking your equipment where it doesn't belong. I am a Born Again Christian, but common sense is all you need to save your life in this case. Your not fighting me, you are fighting God. He set it up the way it works best for people. The rule He set in nature, were for our own good. You don't have to be a Christian to see the folly in exposing yourself to disease.
I once had a conversation with an emergency room doctor that told of the horror's he had to deal with every week with queers. He told of foriegn objects puncturing the anal wall and causing deadly infection. He told of having to stitch 100 stiches in a man, but ended up putting a bag on him because his anus would never work again. He asked the man to call the police on whoever did this to him and he refused because he "loved" him.
As far as I'm concerned, these people are sick perverts. They aren't capable of knowing what is good for them. I personally think they hate themselves. People wonder why a woman stays with a man that beats her. It's the same disease. Self loathing. I believe what is wrong with liberals that agree with this garbage is they have never seen the distructive behavior's end result. Go watch someone in their last hours with AID's. How about Hepititis? They all come the same way. Most just think of AID's. Most STD's can never be healed. You have them forever and pass them on to the people you care about the most. All this misery, just so you can say "I'll never do what a Bible thumper says!" I'm the least of your worries if you participate in this abomination.

My queer brother-in-law has a disease I can't spell and will end his life and my queer sister-in-law has had many diseases, and is in a mental institution most of the time. My brother-in-law raped his 12 year old brother who has grown up to be an alcholic with a broken marraige. He just told his AA group awhile back about that experience. He blames that for his problems. You see how queers are "nice" people. I could write a book about all the pain this "sexuality" has caused, but it still wouldn't make a difference to you. If you know a queer at the office and believe they are fine people, then you don't know them. They are perverts and will rape your children if they get the chance. Your children will never tell because they are so ashamed and frightened. What is going on behind closed doors in this country is turning out a generation of disfunctional people. If you are a queer, then you know I'm right but won't admit it. If you are a liberal, then you just don't get it. If you need pictures of perverts, then go to Google and they will supply you with all you want of the most heinous self hatred you have ever witnessed, but don't try to pass it off as "normal".

Firstly, this isn't about what I personally do. However, plenty of people, gay and straight, do it without catching any disease.

How many is "many"? The early death statistics have been debunked and debated frequently on several FR posts that I've seen. You can seek them out if you want more info.

You might have once had a conversation, but my girlfriend has a career of stories. She is a biomedical engineer specializing in radiology. I've heard stories about married men driven to the hospital by their wives to have objects removed, as well as gay men. No one has a monopoly on foolishly sticking things in their behinds, although in none of her stories were the unfortunate patients women.

While that is unfortunate, it is irrelevant and countered by examples of homosexuals without disease or who have had stays in mental institutions.

I can counter your story with examples of heterosexual rape of children. It happens all too often.

I'm not going to say it's impossible. I will say that it's more likely to come from the hands of a heterosexual, but I don't hold that against all heterosexuals.

Justify to whom? To you? I'm only concerned with public policy. I don't care what people believe on an individual level, as long as they behave civilly they can expect the same.

Largely because it happens to be true...I'm sorry if actual facts tend to break into your belief system on occasion but many reliable surveys and studies show that many heterosexual couples do engage in anal sex. It might shock you as well find out that many more actually leave the lights on too.
The word for this is anecdotal evidence. It's typically not taken very seriously.
However, here are some studies I've found.
High-Risk Sexual Behavior at a Midwestern University: A Confirmatory Survey
According to a 1991 study of sexual behavior based on a random sample of heterosexual undergraduates at a Midwestern university, 80% of the males and 73% of the females had experienced vaginal or anal intercourse. The average age at first vaginal intercourse was 17.2 years for both sexes. Seventeen percent of the sexually experienced males and 18% of the sexually experienced females had engaged in heterosexual anal intercourse; among these respondents, the average age at first anal intercourse was 20.3 for males and 19.1 for females. Although less than four years, on average, had elapsed since the respondents had first had vaginal intercourse, males reported an average of 8.0 lifetime vaginal-sex partners and females reported an average of 6.1. Overall, the findings from this random sample of students are similar to those from a 1988 convenience sample of the same college population.
Unfortunately, there seem to be better more complete references, but they are not available online.
So some of those sexual orientations will be added to the politically correct list to be promoted. BTW transvesticism is already nobilitated as transgenderism (or am I wrong?).
