THANK YOU!!! This is terrific news! Whoever thought up the deck of cards was a genius! I ordered a deck and can't wait to get it and start with the red Xs. One at a time, troops, one at a time. You have them on the run!

If I'm not mistaken, more NFL games have been played at Wrigley field than at any other stadium. The Chicago Bears played there for decades before moving on to Soldier Field.

The Phraselator by Marine Acoustics is shown at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco, April 22, 2003. The Phraselator is a Microsoft CE based device that works as a portable translator using speech recognition. The operator speaks a phrase into the unit and it outputs the appropriate recorded translation through a speaker. Several hundred of the units are being used by U.S. Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

An Iranian man places some Iraqi banknotes in a collection box for the Iraqi people, in central Tehran April 24, 2003. Thousands of Iranians brought money, food, clothes and other items to collection points around the country to send to Iraq. Iran shed no tears over the fall of Saddam Hussein, who used chemical weapons against Iranian troops during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war, but many Iranians sympathize with the plight of the Iraqi people and are eager to assist their western neighbor.

It's okay! The Cubbies will get it together. Keep the faith!! I'm glad you liked the thread today.

Where's the Goddess today? She must not be a Cubbies fan, huh? That's okay!! There's always the Marlins, huh? (I think the Goddess prefers Hockey to baseball)
