Folks, I have family who are deep into this cult, and this description hits the nail on the head. There has been nothing but deep sighs, and dispair that the imperialist U.S. has conquered the oppressed people of Iraq. Have you shown your family the communist web sites and communist threads on DU orchestrating these cults. Maybe they need a real jolt, rather than reason. Don't forget to remind them about the bad points of communism, ie no free speech and closed borders.

I know the feeling. I have family that are in the left cult too. They cant think for themselves without first checking the party line on the talking point, and are virtually obsessed with conspiracy theories about republicans.

I know what you mean. I realized this about my family years ago. Such people are hopeless, with rare exception.
