But Chicago is one of the worst movies I've ever seen; I almost walked out.

I DID walk out of it. Must have been in a bad mood.

Douglas is a creep. He keeps trading in his old wives for new ones. I wonder how long this one will last. Till the next philly comes down the pike? I guess till death do us part doesn't have any meaning in his marriage vows.

Douglas got to direct 'Cuckoo's Nest' cause daddy picked up the film rights cheap -- and gave him the job.

" be careful where you throw that stone."

Yeh, I wouldn't want to bean old Kirk. He's no saint, but I think he's earned some respect.

When I read the title of this, I thought the article was going to say Douglas thought Zeta dated Bush. Afterall, we all know when these elitists think of the President.

Renee, Catherine Z-J, Queen Latifah, Richard Gere, and John C. Reilly are fabulously talented. However, Chicago is dark, literally and figuratively, macabre, and at times downright gruesome.

I went to see it because the previews showed Renee and Catherine looking pretty, in shiny outfits and those pretty white robes etc. I thought it might be bright, beautiful, and jazzy.

However, it was shadowy and creepy. I didn't care about any character in it or what happened to any of them. It picked up slightly when Gere appeared, and I decided to stay, but before that I was about to walk out.

I'd like to see this same talented cast in something worthwhile.

Fair enough, I too look forward to many more musicials.. It may be do to the success of CHICAGO that the money in Hollywood will put it in much more entertaining movies.

How 'bout a good remake of George Gerschwin's Girl Crazy. I love Gerschwin.

It was a fun movie, a bit corny by todays standards. If they could remake Chicago with the gusto that they have shown, I agree it would be fun to do Girl Crazy

Girl Crazy (1943)
Girl-chaser Mickey Rooney is sent to a small private school to mend his ways, but once he sees Judy Garland it's love at first sight, in this musical-comedy based on a Wheeler and Woolsey vehicle made a decade earlier. One of Mickey and Judy's best co-stars June Allyson, Nancy Walker and Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra and features a classic Gershwin score, including "Embraceable You," "But Not for Me," "Fascinating Rhythm," "I Got Rhythm" and many more. 99 min.
Category: Musicals    Director: Norman Taurog
Cast: June Allyson, Irving Bacon, William Bishop, Tommy Dorsey, Judy Garland, Guy Kibbee, Peter Lawford, Henry O'Neill, Frances Rafferty, Mickey Rooney, Don Taylor, Nancy Walker

Angus McFadyen may be an idiot to let Ms. Zeta Jones get away, but he certainly was a fine actor in Mel Gibson's Braveheart, playing the complex Robert the Bruce.
