Actually, most entertainment and sports figures are far more successful than successful executives. Try managing a 100 million dollar career and you begin to see that each of these individuals is a business unto him or herself. As an example, for all the wealth that Michael Jordan has generated for himself, think about how much money he has been responsible for creating worldwide.

As far as old men giving a hand up to their sons, be careful where you throw that stone. Finally, any "successful executive" who casts his wife away, after she stood behind him and supported him for 30 years, to take up with a woman less than half his age can only be described with one word: scumbag.

LOL--bet some of Douglas' ex-girlfriends think of him the same that he thinks of Kate's ex-boys.
Anyway, besides that, I just see this article as someone who is protective of someone they are in love with. I've known many men outside of the acting field who think every man their wife dated before them were idiots--they only get their girl's account of it and I'm sure jealousy pays a fair role in it. Catherine Zeta-Jones is gorgeous and a lot younger than him and a Hollywood darling--I'm sure that keeps Douglas on his toes, especially the fickleness of Hollywood stars including himself.

Sorry, but Michael Douglas is very successful as a movie producer. His first, I think, was Cuckoo's Nest. Then he had the the films with Kathleen Turner which were very successful.
A hell of a record for someone who is only 3 feet tall.
