Read the reports of how POWs were treated from Gulf War 1. Or, if you have the stomach for it, read how anyone who crosses Saddam's will is treated.

Personally, I have a hard time swallowing the "shooting until she ran out of bullets even though she had been shot several times" story.

I'm with you there too. I am thrilled she is safe and being taken care of. This guessing game on how heroic she was and what kind of torture she endured is a bit much. Let's wait and she what she says. Interesting that she was not stabbed and shot as was reported. My wish would be that the others with her would be coming home alive too.

Breaks can cause compression of a nerve and numbness, but with both feet involved, I think back injury is more likely.

Let's not forget the folk's in all the video's that have been shown off as some kind of trophy, all war crimes IMHO. I'm sure the ICC will deal with them, yeah right.
