Matt Damon is a good actor, nevermind his politics. Jessice Lange too, and Susan Sarandon and Don Cheadle and Alfre Woodward. Jane Kaczmarek is hilarious on "Malcolm in the Middle.'" Lily Tomlin is very funny. So is Carl Reiner. Dave Matthews was the #1 concert draw last year. Studs Turkel is a respected author, as is Howard Zinn. Ethan Hawke, Helen Hunt, and Samuel Jackson, though no favorites of mine, are doing quite well for themselves. To each his own, I guess, but only a handful of these people are has-beens, nevermind "never-has-beens."
It looks like most entertainers are being mindful of the Dixie Chicks misstep.
It's nice of you to call it a "misstep." Is that a misstep for not marching in lockstep?

I've found another liberal troll. Your defense of the Dixie Chicks for attacking the President on the eve of war is amusing. Only a leftist would characterize their outburst as "bold" (for not walking in "lockstep") as opposed to foolish or inappropriate. I'm still laughing at your characterization of Howard Zinn as "respected". He is not taken seriously anywhere but college campuses. In other words, adults have outgrown him.
