A -lot- of our current problems go right back to George Bush, Sr.

Nonsense - the problems were there long before. A lot of problems can be traced to conquests at varous times and nations, especially by England in her colonial heyday. Many conquered nations consider us - the US of A - to be equivalent targets, and responsible for the "sins" of the British.

Bill Kristol was on Fox last night saying pretty much what I've been saying for months, and something I've known since 1991 -- Bush Sr. stumbled into a war easily avoided, and he left the Shi-ites hanging, and that is causing us, and will cause us more, dead servicemen and women.

In any case, what the Brits did is irrelevent to the choices Bush faced in 1990.

It's like some of the people on this site accept whatever is put in front of them just like the drones in "1984".
