Please do NOT paint with such a broad brush. I don't hate ALL Muslims and I most assuredly do NOT hate ALL blacks; however, I was against you and others, who thought that getting rid of Lott was wrong...very wrong, especially in the way it was done.

I thought that was plain enough; the same people have been posting the anti-Muslim, "the White House is in bed with terrorists" threads for about the last two months. And they were the ones who posted all the anti-Black threads to defend Trent.

I guess I'm just reluctant to elevate race to being the primary factor in all of this. It's the Left that's obsessed with skin color; I'd rather be color-blind.

The Beltway snipers, and now this incident, suggest that we have a larger problem -- hopefully not TOO large -- with black Muslims. Obviously we need to deal (quietly, by preference) with whatever threat they may represent.

But I belong to at least three catagories myself -- evangelical Christian, conservative, white Southerner -- that AUTHORITY might someday turn upon with suspicion. We have to be very careful that we don't create a watchdog that will turn on us later.

Johnny Taliban was no different than this guy. I'm not sure the NOI has anything to do with this case ---if this guy waits until he's in Iraq before he starts attacking Americans, his gripe may have nothing to do with his race. I didn't see any evidence that the way he attacked had any black supremacy motives. For all we know those he meant to kill were also black.

The point is Black Muslims are the sleepers here in this country. Under the Nation of Islam banner. Those are the ones that I am talking about. They are the ones that hate America and hate everything it stands for and that hate goes back to the civil war. They want nothing to do with the God of the Bible which is why Islam was just perfect for them.

The poster in question entered this thread instigating a flame war, his post was pulled, and he continued instigating by either making derogatory remarks directly at me, or talking about me to others.

I was not directing myself at him, I was having a conversation with someone else--one that you injected yourself into with your usual..."style"--and I ignored his insults for a while, but this "person's" method is quite clear...initiate the flame war, then sit back and feign victimhood.

But the problem is then they go and let these Black Muslims into the army and send them to Iraq to fight with our troops and oops guess what? One of the black muslim terrorist decides to take out our troops. So now they are stuck and if they send some home or say the truth then the Govt looks bad for ever allowing them in with our troops,,,,
