So they're using a lawyer as a human shield? They actually think that lawyer will deter attacking forces? That is naive.

I would think that positioning a lawyer in front of a potential military target would be similar to lighting it up with a laser range finder.

While they're there, have them leave their cell phones on and actually speak to someone so we can lock in on location and more accurately bomb the shi-ite out of them...

I agree.

I don't like them, and I disagree with what they are doing and what they stand for, but at least these ones aaren't base cowards doing it just for "air-time", or the attention. They actually seem to have some conviction behind what they are saying. That means that they are entitled to some GRUDGING respect.

5 Australian Human Shields Vow to Stay in Iraq [at 'Sites of Interest' to US Military]

Great news! Rather than harm our soldiers and fellow country men and women by continuing to help Saddam from afar, they will go commit suicide instead. I believe a big thank you is warranted.

There once was a human shield in Israel, who would not get out of the bulldozer's path. She is no longer, the Israeli army is not out to play games and neither will our American troops. Sad that civilians do not right from wrong and can't tell where their place is.

Japan has FOUR (4) hardline who have said they are going to stay, come what may, in Iraq.

About 50 or so others gave up and left.

The final ditch effort by the Gaimusho (Japanese Foreign Ministry) is to get their relatives on the phone from Japan to PLEAD with them to get out of the way of the hell that will soon be unleashed.

F.A.C.: "Eagle One, you are weapons-free. Attack the target with one JDAM...abort that. We just received word that if you attack the target you might kill a lawyer."

EAGLE ONE: "What are my new orders, sir?"

F.A.C.: "Use two JDAMs. Take no chances."
