Is this the ends times or what? (If I was religous that is). Thank's for the thread, nothing like comic relief to end a stressful day.

That's the King-Straub collaboration book, isn't it? I have read that book (20 years ago), but I'm not placing it in memory (it wasn't as memorable as The Stand).

I think it was before the K-S collaboration, but I enjoyed it, the Stand was great but I loved Talisman,("My laws" was from Talisman I believe,(Wolf)).

I know alot of people, mostly women, who wouldn't eat a fish, no matter what it tasted like. I'll make tuna casserole with egg noodles and watch them eat bark and earthworms.

Thing is, this is not a duct tape situation. People will get their places all sealed up and cozy, then run down to the supermarket for some extra milk, or the bank for a few extra bux, some dude will cough, and they'll be six feet under in a week...

"The plane took off from New York. It's here"I now regret getting back on this thread....but I have to explain to all of you that 'it' was already here...in the form of atypical pneumonia hospitalizing and killing infants for the past two weeks.
I'm not trying to DOWNPLAY this, but you all must know the germs have been out there a while. Remain calm, because hysteria depresses the immune system and makes us more vulnurable to disease. Watch symptoms. Dont try to second guees yourself at the onset of fever and allow your imaginations to get the best of you.
This is not 'Captain Tripps' and it is not a threat to civilization. It's a BUG...like West Nile. It mutates within the hosts...and healthy hosts can beat it off. The so-called 'common cold' can kill under the right circumstances. The germs are already out there, and fear is your enemy, not your friend. Go to Dollar General and buy echnacea, an immune system stimulant. Keep parsley (boron...immune system stimulant) sage (makes you sweat) rosemary (antibiotic) and thyme (antibiotic) and gargle with salt water every night, LAST thing oyu do before going to bed should upper respiratory symptoms begin.
Yeah, I remember the Simon and Garfunkle song...and also know that THAT was only a rendition of a much older song, containing the wisdom of old wives (and herbalists, like me)
OK??

"I sincerely hope the UN passes a resolution before this thing gets out of hand....."A virus could care less about Saddam, the UN or the US government. It's a VIRUS.
