Well it could be worse. She could have at one time been a lawyer, corporate executive or politician!

You could tell she was going through all the emotions ---being dumped, finding out she wasn't getting rich, being dumped by a poor guy on top of it ---that must have really stung.

These reality shows seem to be a spinoff of wrestling. They seem similar to me, except JM is an emotional circus and wrestling is a physical one. Of course I don't understand the attraction to "wrastlin'" either.

Wrastlin is loud, that's what makes it fun. I haven't checked in for a while so I don't know if it still holds true but it used to be you could tell how American relations with a country were going to go (in 3 to 6 months) by whether wrestlers "from" that country (few really were) were heroes or heels. I got off the boat somewhere around WrestleMania 4 but it's still fun to watch a match once in a while, as a display of physical prowess and stuntman grace nothing beats wrestling. There's a definite soap opera aspect that has been borrowed for the reality shows, not enough flying leaps from the top rope though.

Rigged outcomes happen quite regularly on game shows. Didn't you hear about the contestant on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" who had the answers "accidentally" fed into his monitor? Or how about Jeopardy who routinely set up categories to favor some contestants over others, or when certain people are locked out from buzzing in to answer the questions. Or how about "Press Your Luck" who rigged games during its entire tenure? Or when you see the wheel on "Wheel of Fortune" spin on its own, don't you get a little suspicious?
